The resort has everything you need for a nice get away. The food was good and a large selection of rotating menus for the buffet. The staff was all friendly, especially the bartenders. The main pool was nice but getting a chair was a bit of a pain. Get up early if you want a spot with some shade. As for the room, I had a king sized bed and I personally hated it, as it was very hard. The room was cleaned daily and fridge restocked. When we booked the hotel our travel agent said smoking was allowed on balconies but this is no longer the case, which is an inconvenience for me, but maybe not you. Another thing is the toilet paper in the bathroom was basically cardboard, so I would recommend bring a roll of your own or go and get some from the Walmart or other shop down the road.

We booked our stay with Liz from the Flight Centre at Market Mall - Calgary. She got us a phenomenal price at the most expensive time of the year. This all inclusive is phenomenal because of the staff. They all go above and beyond expectations. The food is also great! We never had the same meal twice during our 7 day visit and it was always fresh! The beach is sandy and large, the ocean is warm. You will see all sorts of wildlife as well. During our stay we saw, pelicans, stingrays, all types of fish, and lizards. If you are looking for an excellent experience in a clean resort with friendly staff - look no further!

I was there in Feb for 1 week. Very Nice! Resort was clean and beach is fantastic! Room was standard hotel room but very clean, beds very comfy! Great service throughout the resort, good food and staff very attentive and friendly! Looking forward to another visit to this resort next winter!

We stayed at a club Solaris back in early January. The weather was wonderful, not crazy hot or cold. We stayed here with family and my in laws did a time share exchange. The check in process was done through the hotel’s timeshare suite and they served us drinks upon arrival and gave us a detailed description & lay of the land. They took great care of us & We felt as though we were members of their timeshare. They wanted to give us a presentation, but we decided against it and they were very respectful of our decision.
On our first full day at the resort my 3 year old daughter when down the water slide in the kids pool and cut her chin on the bottom of the pool. The staff over seeing the children in the kids club assisted me and brought us to the on-site nurse. Her recommendation was stitches, no question about it. The hotel was so accommodating and called for a complimentary car to come get us from the clinic, which was about 10 minutes away. After spending about 2 hours at the clinic the same driver took us back to the hotel, making a pit stop so we could buy my daughter cupcakes for her birthday (which happened to be that day!).
The following days, the staff continued to check on us and see how our daughter was healing. I was very impressed and extremely grateful for their concern.
The resort itself is older but has lots of character. The rooms are good size and we loved having the Murphy bed for our daughter to sleep on. I was VERY impressed by the cleanliness and amount of staff working to ensure the guests had an exceptional experience.
We will definitely return!!

Enjoyed our stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Especially the dining room waiters, Gilberto & Jenner. Always found lots to eat. Best pizza ever at the pizza hut!
Not confident enough to swim at the beach, but we did wade in and play in the waves every day.
The resort is older, but easy to get around with lots of food options and bars.
