If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit RoomBully. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!

We were recently a part of a corporate event hosted at this hotel. We had an excellent experience! The lunch buffet was delicious. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful - going above and beyond for anything we needed. We hope to have another event at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento in the future.

From walking through the door to sleeping in the bed, my entire experience here was very nice. Lots if mirrors & cute detail in the room & bathroom. The reading nook was a pleasant surprise. Bed is very comfortable. Valet was super expensive though.
I was there for a conference the next morning so it was nice to be able to check out & leave my bags with the front desk (the give you a ticket to keep track if what's yours) & not have to worry about going out to my car or wasting the valet I paid for. Food was delicious! The space gir conferences was great as well. All staff were really professional & nice.

Sheraton Grande Hotel Is conveniently located in downtown Sacramento. A very good place for staying or hosting social and professional events. Recently I attended there for a conference. The staff was friendly and caring. The food was very good and varied. The only thing I would like is the room temperature to be a little bit warmer. It's refreshing if you just came in during a hot summer day, but if you stay for a longer event like in my case it does feel cold. So if you're more used to a warmer weather or get cold easily caring a light jacket is always a good idea. :)

It's a very nice property overall. My room does not have a mini fridge, which is a little disappointing. However, every part of the hotel is clean and comfortable. My room is no exception. Walls are thick and I do not hear my neighbors other than some slight noise through the door, which is to be expected. Room service is fine. Food is decent quality, though not particularly exciting. Be aware that they apply a 20% gratuity AUTOMATICALLY to all room service orders, but still have a tip space on the bill. Make sure that you are not tipping more than you want to.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Grand hotel in Sacramento. The bed was very comfortable and the room was impeccable. The hotel was walking distance from several restaurants that we also enjoyed. I would give 5 stars, but the towels were a bit rough. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Sacramento.

Overall good hotel if needing to stay in downtown Sacramento. Here are the pluses: easy access and friendly staff, prices are high buy slightly lower than nearby properties. I was a little disappointed in the rooms. If by myself or just one other person there would have been plenty of room. Options for families and larger rooms are somewhat lacking. Most rooms with two beds only have full.size beds, no queens. The club floor food was on point with a special about out to Jan who was a very nice and efficient attendant at club level.

Hands down the best I've been at. Everything was and always has been perfect. I suggest that you try a corner room to see the view of Old Sacramento and the River on the other side. It is so romantic. Everyone at that hotel is great. The location is great. Breakfast buffet is excellent. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. This is our go-to spot when we have our weekend getaways. Pet friendly too!

The location of the hotel is great, close to lots of restaurants and old town, as well as the convention center. The rooms are large and clean with nice amenities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's only a 12-15 minute drive from the airport, so very convenient.

This hotel is a 12 minute drive from the airport and it's close to Old Town. The hotel itself is nice and the rooms are large and clean. The only downfall is there are some people living on the sidewalk right outside the hotel at night. There are a lot of restaurants in walking distance but I didn't have the opportunity to try any of them. The staff was super friendly and helped us with our bags.

The room was clean and nicely decorated, but small. There hand towel bars, but none for our bath towels. We paid $20 extra for a fridge. It was about 24" cube. Not much if you REALLY need a fridge. Curbside was easy, check-in counter was not as well organized as it should have been. Good thing it wasn't super busy when we got there. It wasn't a bad experience, just ok

Nice clean room, comfortable beds. Only comes with single serve coffee in room, ice machines on most floors...no microwave or refrigerators in room, you can rent a super tiny one for $20 a night though, free if medically necessary. Staff very efficient, unloading car upon arrival, they packed up my cart for checkout as soon as I asked for a cart while in the lobby!!! Room service a luxurious treat.

This review is really for the downstairs lounge area. Second stay here for us in as many months, this time for an event so didn't spend much time in the room but got to experience the social atmosphere in the lobby on Friday and Saturday night. If you're staying and planning to get out for a night in the town, start off downstairs as the lounge area is arguably more enjoyable and spacious than local spots with a mix of locals and out of towners. Pricier but speedy and attentive staff make sure you're tended to.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HoteIRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

I didn't have to pay for this hotel; it's a bit on the pricy end. It was, however, an amazing stay. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean as well. The shower had hot water and was not small like most showers in other hotels. The fitness center was typical of most hotels. They had the basic machines needed for a quick workout. The pool was a bit on the small end and there was no Jacuzzi. Staff was super friendly and very helpful the last day that I stayed with them. Upon arrival the attendant seemed to have run across some issues, but she figured it out.

Overall I would rate this hotel as a great place to stay for those that have the extra cash on hand.

At hotel: Had a great stay overall. Precious was very helpful and nice! She helped make our stay very memorable. The rest of the staff was very friendly. Online and on phone: We did leave confused because we were told we could upgrade our rooms to get breakfast and when we arrived it was a different fee and not for the room but per person buffet. We were also very confused because they have no happy hour but it is stated online and on their parking garage stairwells on their posters that they do from 4-7pm.

Clean enough rooms. A little dated old hotel. Narrow halls. No refrigerator. Limited check in staff... long check in line. Seems like a good location. Lots of government employees with badges around. Limited valet parking... sometimes full. Outdoor pool with handicap lift and 3 lounge chairs, get there early if you want a seat. Soft beds.
Not quite sure what makes this a 4 star hotel.

Convenient parking across the street, but the parking spaces are a bit narrow. I attended for a social event. The ballroom is large and well lit, with decent acoustics. With 500 people in the room, it was possible to carry on a conversation across the table. Food was decent, but a bit overcooked. Everything was clean and orderly. Servers were professional and courteous.

Nice hotel and great location for the convention center. The Capitol is also walking distance as are lots of places to eat and drink. The only issue is that the elevator gets crowded when large groups get out of meetings or from the convention center at the same time. If your get a room on a lower floor you can take the stairs and save a ton of time waiting for an elevator that might be full.

This hotel is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of amenities are provided within the hotel itself. The room service was a bit on the expensive side but worth the convenience after a long day of travel. I would certainly stay here again.

This is conviently located near the convention center, but I cannot give this 5 stars for the following reasons:
Internet is TERRIBLE, even if you pay the $15 a day for premium.
Toiletries were also poor quality, and I was left without shampoo.
The main reason however, is that in the morning the water took nearly 15 minutes to get hot. I had to catch a plane, it was very early, and the water was freezing. I called downstairs and was told that it can take a long time, and that 10 minutes was pretty common. That is just ridiculous. I alone likely wasted 20 gallons of water, costing the hotel more money.
And on the mirror it stated that conservation is important. I was apparently supposed to get a $5 restaurant credit for not using house cleaning for a day, but I never got that.

This is quite a cute hotel. The staff was friendly and kind during the check in process. Check in was quick and efficient. As a Platinum member, I was upgraded to a very nice suite. The location is right in the centre of everything. It is very convenient to the convention centre. Parking is a bit expensive. The club lounge is too small for the amount of people who had privileges.

Too loud. All day and night long too much noise. Do not take a room ending with 09. Too close to ice machine and maids closet.

Stayed here following week and had a much better experience. Higher room. Much quieter. Edited review.

My wife and I decided to get a nice hotel room for our last night in Sacramento, after staying and visiting with family for a few days. We usually stay at the Inn of Capital Park, which we like a lot but decided to stay at a "nicer" hotel to treat ourselves. Right away we noticed that there is no refrigerator and no microwave. Then we began to notice that the room had dust on all the surfaces, the blinds were broken, basically no amenities. Add the $25 parking charge and we could have stayed at our favorite hotel for less money, free parking and had all these things with it. It wasn't terrible but there are so many better hotels that we will never bother with the Sheraton again.

We came from Tahoe and made a late decision to stay in Sacto since the snow storm coming over the Pass was unexpected and a bit hairy! Ended up eating in their bar and it was surprisingly delicious! The waiter was a very kind young man whom we enjoyed very much. The valet guy was very nice as well. Very impressive young man! Very kind and helpful. We will definitely stay here again! Oh, and right by the Promenade, so a great place to walk our doggie, even let him run a bit off leash. :)

i have stayed here several times. It is solid hotel. Last night i sat at the bar around dinner time. The service was FAST. I really like it when the server comes over as soon as you sit down and they were ready to take my drink before my bottom touched the seat. They continued great service for refills and appetizers. Pretty good food and ok beer selection.

The front desk staff are friendly as well as the employees throughout the hotel. Aside from that... things are a bit amiss. Internet isn't free. They may say it is, but it only is for gold & platinum members. It took a few attempts to get this information from guest services. The beds aren't that comfortable and the pillows are too soft. (Whereas they have to solidity to them). They run out of in room fridges quickly and they aren't quick to tell you they have rooms with fridges permanently. They definitely have room for improvement.

I've been staying here for almost 18 years. This property has consistently been above average, even by Sheraton standards, which I consider to be better than their reasonable competition. You cannot go wrong choosing to stay here. A true class act.

Location: Nice, as it's close to the convention center and the capital, and fairly close to old Sacramento. Rooms: Adequate and spacious enough for 4 people. Unfortunately they do not provide a fridge and there isn't much place to store things. Everything was clean and there is enough plugs for each person to charge their gadget. Service: Quick and as silent as the night. Props to them for such an easy experience. Tip is advised. Amenities: the basics, shampoo, towel, etc Pool: Eh, don't swim. Tl;Dr: it's a good option if you want to explore out for most of the day than just being stuck in your hotel room.

Anytime your server(s) are consultative in helping you find a nice mix of food and beer, there’s a good chance it will be a good experience. Kristina and Jessica directed me toward the massive chicken nachos (only $13?!, yes please!) and toward a tasty IPA I had never tried. Strong recommendations and excellent bar top service. They sent me on my way with a smile on my face.

I cannot state enough how helpful their staff was especially Ms. Jessica at the front desk. We came with a large party of students and she took her time always with a smile to help us navigate the room assignments. Visited for a conference. Really nice rooms and service for water, coffee. Spacious, elegant. Self parking is expensive, so park somewhere else or take public transit in. Rooms are smaller than you would expect on the club level. Really nice venue, professional and easy to navigate.

I am doing this review based on the service I have experienced during nursing conferences I have attended here over the years.
The Staff here are very kind and helpful. The food served is consistently good and the conference rooms conducive to learning.
There is a garage across the Hotel which is convenient and they validate our ticket during the conference. It is only done for this one garage and no other so be mindful of that. I do not know if that is for every conference held here or dependent on case to case basis. They have valet parking as well like other Hotels.

When my friends needed a place to stay with their dogs and a transport for Dogs on Deployment, the Sheraton was the best place in town. They offer outstanding service and a beautiful hotel. Best things about this place is the location. You can walk to a lot of popular landmarks. The food is good, but on the expensive side. They lack in customer service at the front desk. Should do more to accommodate their guest even if they are traveling for business. The bathroom could use an update.

By far the best hotel on our road trip. The service was impeccable and the buffet breakfast was a delight to wake up for! The only downside was that our room smelled quite musty, but we were so tired that we were able to get past it quite easily. This hotel has made Sacramento the best town on our trip thus far, would love to return some day.

Nice hotel, with great views of the city and river. Loved being on a high floor for the view and the window seats in the rooms, but the elevator was slow and it took forever to come and go. There were a couple minor maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. Otherwise, it was a nice stay with comfy beds and Starbucks in the room!

I have lived in Sacramento all my life and it's not often that I take the time to stroll the city streets. My sister and I had just come from the local adult arcade, Coin-Op, and I was talking about planning a Stay-cation, when I stopped on the corner and started straight up into the most beautifully presented building... The lights on the ground floor were bright enough to see inside, though the lobby was mostly empty. We viewed a group of 4 women sitting at a windowed seat, eating, drinking wine, and LAUGHING. The joy was wonderful to see! I know where I'm going next time I need to get away!

Been here twice for a training/symposium and not much a fan but part of that is the location. Staff were very nice and food was good, but parking for handicap is almost non-existent here -had to circle the area for quite awhile before finding a regular spot - and where the symposium room are there are no restrooms on that level. I'm very active but my feet stiffen after I've sat for awhile. Last year the rooms were very cold but this time more moderate temps. Last year staff led me to the wrong locations before I realized where I needed to go

Very nice hotel. Check in and valet is fast. Our rooms were clean and we'll kept. Our room came with an empty small refrigerator, great for storing our kids snacks, was an unexpected bonus. Downstairs Lobby has a bar and restaurant. The gym is adequately stocked with machines and free weights while the 4th floor rooftop swimming pool small for the venue and lacks a jacuzzi. The hotel's location is in the heart of Sacramento and is conveniently located within walking distance to most restaurants and attractions, which is the primary reason for my booking my stay here. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will stay here again. Highly recommended.

The Sheraton is located a block away from the convention center and have free parking right across the street, which is a big convenience for me. OVERALL: Enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a bit dated and not refrigerator, but comfortable beds and very clean with large bathroom.

The furnishings in the room are showing their age, but it was a nice room. Can't understand why the TV was not on a swivel since it was off center to the room. WiFi posed some issues, but a phone call to the desk got us going. There needs to be a refrigerator (now standard in rooms in this price range) in the room.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, but more people at the front desk at peak times would be nice.

The Hotel is extremely convenient to the Convention Center, and the lobby is "alive" during events.

Very disappointed to pay $32/day for parking.

Well, as I didn't actually stay at the hotel, but rather, used the grounds as part of a conference, I can't speak on the quality of the rooms. However, the lobby was spacious and the booths for check-in were accommodated on location nicely. There was even coffee provided. The ballroom was set-up in a fashion that made sense for the presentations. I would definitely recommend this venue if I were an event coordinator.

The ballroom was set-up in a fashion that made sense for the presentations. I would definitely recommend this venue if I were an event coordinator.

Great dog-friendly hotel option! Decent grass and dirt patches nearby for walking doggies, easy policy with deposit (promptly returned after checkout). Nice rooms and great location downtown!

Great location for the convention center and capitol building. Room was clean, service was efficient, and our dogs were allowed with a refundable deposit. Negatives: elevators sometime took forever to arrive and noise from the hallway (like the room across from us having difficulties unlocking their door) could easily be heard in the room.

They served you water during the test off format that we have done. It was very pretty and it felt grand so I guess they have that going for them. There's no reception in the convention area we were located in though.

I didn't have an opportunity to see much of the hotel as I was only there to sleep after a concert. The room was comfortable and clean, nicely decorated. I paid a discounted rate and it was worth what I paid, but the rack rate of $450 would've been too much. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location for events at Golden One Center.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around...

We stayed here during a family "staycation," and were treated so wonderfully!

The hotel is beautiful. Very clean. The staff is very welcoming. The rooms are clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Good showers. The front desk associate, Carmen, even sent up a Thank You note for staying with them while we escaped reality for a couple of days. Totally sweet gesture!

Breakfast buffet is a bit expensive but it very good!

It's a great hotel and I would recommend it-without any hesitation!

Great city center hotel, I only stayed over a single night but the stay was comfortable, quiet, and hassle free. Parking was located around the corner from the hotel, convenient enough for me. The view from the 15th floor was great.

The first room we were put in had dog hair all over the carpet. The Sheraton Grand is a very busy hotel with tons of events every month and thousand of guests, I imagine the housekeeping service is stretched thin, especially around the holidays. Anyway, the dog hair was unsightly and I'm allergic, so I called guest services and told a nice woman the problem. She had a new room for us in less than three minutes. A man came upstairs to meet us and trade out our key cards. It was a quick and seamless solution.

Great location right in downtown Sacramento. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. There is a cool bar attached to the hotel called The Hotel Bar that's a fun spot to hang out later. The rooms are really nicely updated and super clean.

Stayed on the club floor in order to use the club room to meet with colleagues. The nominal upgrade of $40 was well worth it. The guest room was comfortable, but not spectacular. No complaints.

Had a nice dinner and drinks. The salmon was good, as was the service. Always seem to meet nice people here too. Overall a good spot for a bite before heading to the convention center.

The Sheraton Grand is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of Sacramento. I have attended may conferences here and my experiences have always been very positive. The catered food is tasty, and the staff has lays been more than accommodating to my kosher and gluten-free friends. Some of the meeting rooms are a little small and can get quite warm and cozy, but work great for conferences with less than 200 people. Interiors are clean and up to date, too!

Stopped in for a professional development event dinner, did not stay the night. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the quality of food was good. There were not nearly enough tables available though, and the layout seemed to be more focused on style than practicality.

Nice hotel in the heart of downtown. Walking distance from the Capitol Building. The parking lot key wasn't working for 5 days straight, a bit of a pain to get in and out of the lot. Hopeful they fix that's soon. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly

Only stayed a night and didn't use the amenities, but everything was very good. Location seemed great, and we were able to walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room itself was spacious and comfortable.

I attended a work convention in the ballroom. I was pleased with the location of the hotel and the attentiveness of the hotel staff with our coffee and hors d'oeuvres. The venue was beautiful, and the complimentary lunch was top notch. I can't wait to go back for more work events.

We arrived very late and were greeted by Anthony, a friendly guy who knew where the closest Poke Stops were. We had our 2 pups with us and picked the hotel because of their refundable pet deposit. The mattress was incredible, great nights sleep. Will be back. Only complaint is the parking is outrageous. $32 for valet and $20 for self park, insane when one is already paying $200 for a room.

Excellent service (from check-in, to in room dining, and bell hop) and lobby is impressive. The rooms are a bit lacking and not sound proof and only real negative. Located within walking distance of the Capital Museum and Old Sacramento.

This is a business hotel. I have been here many times. Rooms are OK. Food is OK. The service is very good. The public spaces are great and the beer at the bar is reasonably priced. When I have a choice, I prefer to stay at the citizens hotel about a block away.

Rooms were OK, nothing fancy but comfortable. Ice machine on floor did not work. Lobby area was spacious and clean. Check-in and check-out took way longer than needed, they did not have enough people working at the desk.

Nice room. Security were a??holes. They came up to our room. They said someone called and said it is loud. We said ok. He was trying to come in and count the heads. It was five of us. We had three rooms but decided to talk for awhile after coming from party spot. He has the nerve to say its to many in the room. Two people left the room. He still wasnt happy so i shut the door in his face. Lol
