I highly recommend this Sheraton hotel. Miriam at the front desk made all the difference! Miriam not only answered all our questions about the neighborhood, but she was so thoughtful. Very clean and excellent location. Excellent customer service from Miriam. We loved the Thai restaurant which is a two minute walk away. We ate four dinners and one lunch there

Great place, but we have used this hotel twice and both times the room has had no hot water. To be fair, we required a handicap room and as soon as they moved us to a non handicap room, the hot water worked.

Good hotel, decent neighborhood. Has access to restaurants, 7 eleven, etc (walking distance). Can get a little pricey sometimes though. Provides extra amenities on request like a shaving blade or toothbrush. Overall a good experience.

This was a first class hotel. The rooms were large and had modern bedding and the bed was very comfortable. I slept really well. I was disappointed that the swimming pool was only open on the weekends. But, that was made up by the excellent customer service I received from the staff. In particular, I had some issues with my car and Ashley, one of the desk managers, went out of her way to help me make it to my meeting on time, by showing me how to use the public transit. She made the experience very easy for me and I saved a lot of money by not having to call a taxi or Uber. From now on the only hotel I will use in Rockville is the Sheraton.

This was an excellent choice for our stay. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They were very accommodating to our needs. The room was very comfortable, and I could have stayed in that shower all day. The hotel was minutes from the metro, food and shopping. We stayed on the club floor and the service was great. Having snacks available was refreshing, and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel as the go to place if you want access to DC without the city issues.

It's a nice hotel to stay, quite big rooms and bathrooms. Staff is cooperative. It's slightly far from the Washington DC main city area.

I wasn't very impressed by this Sheraton property. It seems cheaply build, and they didn't have central air. Instead they had noisy window units. The rooms were clean, though, and the service staff did a great job. During check-in they forgot to give me breakfast vouchers and later questioned when I told them that I never received any. The breakfast overall was poor, overpriced and they ran out of many items (hot water, bread, silverware, plates etc) as if they didn't know how many guests were staying in a given day. The lounge was also not very exciting and certainly this place was substandard compared to other Sheraton locations I have been to.

Sheraton Rockville is a competent mid-range Sheraton. Rooms are a respectable size. But, storage for clothing (especially drawer space) is limited. My room had a mechanical rumbling noise that I assume was coming from air handlers. Wireless internet service was sub-standard. In my room, Internet was subject to frequent extended drop outs. I had to resort to using my data plan. Food from the restaurant was OK but nothing exceptional. I expected better for the prices. Coffee is available to guests at no charge. The hotel provides one free bottle of water each day (on the Club Level at least). More bottles of water are available in the Club Lounge. The hotel does not offer newspapers to guests. I didn't even find a place to buy a paper in the hotel.

Stayed here for 11 days! It was beautiful. The restaurant downstairs was wonderful. The softest and most luxurious bedspread and bed I’ve slept in. I loved my stay here and made some great acquaintances. Staff was always helpful and hotel was very clean.

8

Nice decent rooms. Courteous front desk staff. Well located if you have business in the Rockville, Gaithersburg or the much more expensive Bethesda areas. A 5 minute drive to the metro station, either Shady Grove or Rockville metros. Rooms are nice. Would be nice t they had a refrigerator. They do have a coffee machine, a few complimentary tea bags, coffee packets and a bottle of water (the second bottle is a rather steep $5). All in all highly recommended.

Hotel is located near the beltway, but not very close to many dining or retail options. The closest shopping center with a variety of options was about 5-10 minutes away at the Rio. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff was very friendly. Despite the somewhat off location, I would stay here again.

Very good service, clean rooms, nice employees. The heater in my room was broken, and they quickly moved me to a new room with no question.

First the good...This hotel is very nice and the location is convenient. The staff at the front desk and restaurant are outstanding especially Christian and Desta. However, (the bad) our room 331 has a noisy fan that turned on every time the heat did (about every 15 minutes). From my understanding this is a known issue all over the hotel that they are working to remedy it. Management addressed our concerns and we will try this property again.

As a seasoned traveler I've seen it all. This hotel met all my expectations. When I checked in, I was helped by Sepideh. She was pleasant, professional and efficient. I received 5 star service from her. I don't think enough hotels put enough priority on quality front desk personnel. They can dramatically effect your impressions of the property.

When I opened the door to my room I was happy to see a very clean, stylish room. The linens were top notch and the bed was very comfortable. The furniture was in perfect condition and obviously new. This is a cement floor hotel. That means it's quiet and you won't hear the idiot upstairs walking around on his heels. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Rooms are starting to show age. I also prefer rooms without carpets and with larger TV's (42"). Restaurant was nice and food service was very good.

7

Great hotel, very nice and high-class. Had a little bit of trouble finding it because my GPS was sending me somewhere else. The service is really good, when I first arrived they gave me a one bed room, instead of a two bed room but they fix it right away. The only problem I had was the toilet wasn't flushing properly, but to my understanding the city is doing something with the water so it's not their fault. Great hotel though, deffinetly recommended.

Perfectly serviceable. We checked in, slept, and left. We did attempt to use the tuck shop, it wasn't particularly well stocked, but we were able to get the last bag of Skittles.

I stayed at the Sheraton Rockville Hotel, upon my visit to Baltimore for a dear friends funeral. I booked through ID90 for $60 per night, was housed on the 4th floor (preferred guest level) and found the hotel to be exquisite. The room clean, accommodating, and felt like a home away from home. I asked for toothpaste and they provided a tooth brush and ample toothpaste. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, including foreign guests. Loved every moment there, and will visit again. :-)

No refrigerators/microwaves in rooms in order to make the guest buy from their kitchen. 4 people checked into our room. Only 3 towels were provided. Some of the staff seemed snobby. Bathroom cleanliness was minimal at best and caulking jobs were a disgrace. Bathroom was decent sized however the shower/bathtub was extremely small and we're tiny individuals! Overall was one of our least favorite hotel experiences ever.

The staff is terrific! Very courteous and professional. The location is in a very quiet part of town with a few shopping centers around. RIO Washingtonian Center is about ten miles away and it is very kid-friendly with plenty scenic waterfront views. Highly recommend going there if you stay here!

9

Wonderful experience thanks to Paul at front desk. Was in Maryland Fathers Day weekend for a wedding. Checked in very late with my wife and kids but still had to drive all the way to D.C. to drop my mom off. Paul saw we were all very tired and offered to switch us to a double and even offered a baby crib so that we could sleep separately from the baby. Was very impressed with the cleanliness and customer service. Would most certainly stay here again.

I had a pleasant stay at Sheraton Rockville. My room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. The bar area is also quite nice. The bartenders made drinks quickly and frequently checked in to see if I needed anything. I'll be visiting again next month.

This hotel was very subtle. The employees were absolutely professional and very kind. Everything was very clean and accessible. I would say the one thing I wish they had was complementary breakfast but even without it it was still a excellent stay. Definitely recommend.

Lovely location, quite rooms, decent breakfast bar. Pet friendly AND clean! Very comfortable beds and lots of soft and med to hard pillows to chose from on the bed. Nice grass area, spacious for pets to do their business, more than adequate parking, wonderful, mall and restaurant row 2 mins from hotel. Staff Christian and Michael were friendly , helpful, courteous and professional. Great gym, and pool. Wish the hours were longer for pool but, enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Sheraton in Rockville Md on Coke Cherry Road and Piccard.

Walls are paper thin. Large comforter slides off bed at night. Discovered another huge collection of dust behind lamps & along edges of floor. Staff is okay. Room-service messed up two orders, front desk staff is easily confused, and Holy HECK am I just exhausted.

6

Fine for a business trip. Rooms are comfortable but a little non-descript and generic (lots of fake dark wood and clunky furniture). I prefer a more modern boutique hotel. Staff are a little bit confused or disinterested most of the time! Bar doesn't open until 5:00pm. Breakfast is a little poor.

Nice breakfast and very nice rooms, very comfy beds. The pool has a lifeguard and the work out room is excellent. Pet friendly. The club rooms upstairs are awesome. Free food and drinks for the club members. You have to put your room key into the elevator to access it.

Carpets are old, worn, stained in the elevator and hallways. When I entered my room, there were a couple dirty towels used for cleaning the room left on the floor. The room, itself, seemed tidy though.
The bathroom is nice, the bed is comfortable but might be a bit small length wise if you are taller than 5'6"-ish.
Be prepared to wake up at the crack of dawn if your room faces east (like me) The shade doesn't do a very good job and there isn't a way to make the room any darker.
I tried their roasted salmon for dinner. I liked it. A bit heavy on the old bay but still good and the veggies were nice.
Everyone was very nice. No real complaints.

5

Not your typical Sheraton. Most Sheraton's I have visited are easily 4 star. This was not like that. It was very loud. Kids running in the halls and playing loud music. Management was not useful and just informed me that there were many groups. Most hotels strategically place groups on one side of the hotel to accommodate other guest. Not here.

Not a bad hotel by any means, but it was pretty "blah". Food was OK, bar was OK, just nothing really screamed great place to stay. I stayed here several weeks in a row before switching to a hotel with a better location in terms of things to do near by. It's fast food chain restaurant mecca near by. Not a bad area though for running as there are lot of cookie cutter town homes near by. Gym was not that nice...but they do have an indoor pool, although it's pretty small.

If you're a Starwood person, you'll be fine. If you don't care about brand, I'd head towards the Washingtonian Center - lot more to do without having to get back in your rental car.
