The Sonesta ES Suites are a great lodging choice for a family vacation. The rooms come with a full kitchen including dishwasher and basic tableware, as well as 2 separate bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom has 2 beds, great for siblings, and the upstairs master suite has 1, perfect for parents. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which helps everyone to have their own space on vacation. The hotel has coin operated laundry and an outdoor pool, as well as complimentary continental breakfast. There is some cardio equipment in an exercise room, but for exercising you are better off running outside with a scenic view of the Rocky Mountain front range. I have been satisfied with my experience at the Suites and I would be happy to stay here again.

Given that it's a hit or miss part of town I was a little skeptical, but the rooms are nicely furnished, very clean and the staff was very friendly. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a modest, but clean and comfortable place to stay here in the springs. Location is very Central to the east side of town and there are restaurants and grocery stores within a couple of minutes in each direction. I was impressed enoigh to write this review 😀.

My family and I stayed at the Sonesta Suites in mid-July and loved it! The rooms are beautiful and the beds are so comfortable. The kitchenettes are too cute. In the evening we hung out at the fire pit and made happy family memories. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast that was available every morning. You can tell that all of the staff go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant experience.

I was surprised by the great prices and how nice these rooms were. They're essentially small apartments with a small kitchen stocked. The room was clean, organized, and the bathroom was stocked. Staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked questions. The hotel has a pool, small basketball court, and lawn games. You just have to ask the front desk to borrow the equipment you need. The gym is small but clean. It has water and towels in there. Only downside is that the stairclimber in the gym doesn't work

Overpriced hotel. Room fine. Breakfast poor & very basic.
When you pay $ 250 a night, you expect a great upscale breakfast. But the Breakfast was barely edible. Everything was almost finished [ even at 8 am] and needed to be replaced.
They offer very little fresh food at breakfast. There were no fruits, tea, & yogurt. The parking is quite small, no trolleys to help you carry your bags.
Overall, i was not happy with the experience.

Good concept, liked the Suites, the breakfast. Too expensive though. Outside pool only and lousy exercise room.

Nice big rooms but it's in a terrible neighborhood, no equipment in the gym, and I didn't see any breakfast buffet. In-room kitchens are nice though. The staff is very helpful and does their best with what they have

Very good experience, except they weren't replinishing the breakfast stations when there was still 30 minutes left. Very clean and the staff was friendly at the front desk. I would definitely stay there again.

Very LOUD place right on very busy Academy Blvd. Suite was nice but if I would've known about the location, I would've stayed somewhere quieter and easier to get to.

Very nice place for a hotel/extended stay. With my AAA discount the nightly rate were fairly inexpensive for getting a small apartment-like place. Brand new oven, stove fridge, flat screen TV. My only complaint would be the lack of space between where the couch goes, the uncomfortable couch, and the patio which was 5' x 5'. The bed is huge and the bathroom is nice, they even have dispensers in the shower for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The staff was great! Very friendly, always said hello and got you anything you needed. They had free breakfast and free dinner, which was I think Tuesday thru Thursday. Only thing negative I have to say was my room backed up right against Academy Blvd. So I could hear all the loud cars and motorcycles throughout the day

Our stay at Sonesta ES Suites was pleasant, and certainly covered the basics of what we needed. The employees we interacted with were friendly and helpful, but there were some shortcomings in the amenities. The suite we were staying in had a fairly well-stocked kitchen, but there was no spatula, and there was no garbage can in the downstairs bathroom. Both of these issues were resolved promptly when we pointed them out.

My husband and I stayed for one night on our travels to Maine. The room we stayed in was very clean and bright. We had the lovely fireplace going while having our dinner. We were thankful for the very comfortable bed for a great nights rest.

The suites are like cozy small apartments, with full size fridge, stovetop/oven, and even a dishwasher. Very clean and quiet. Great hot Buffett breakfast for all guests. Pets are even welcome. GREAT place to stay. Thanks Sonesta!

TL:DR - Nice place for families, clean well appointed rooms. Avoid if your are allergic to kids or pets and want to eat the free breakfast.
Booked a suite online. Check in was easy and quick. The person at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The room was a two bedroom suite with one king and bathroom on the upper level and two doubles and a bathroom on the lower level. The kitchen had dishes and pans, there was a bar for sitting and a living room with TV (each sleeping area also had a TV). The pool was on the small side but was well kept with towels provided. There was a playground, basket ball court and sand volleyball. There were lots of families there during our stay so it is a great place if you have kids. There were a few things that were frustrating. The breakfast was mobbed, there was no where to sit and the staff had a hard time keeping up. We went elsewhere for breakfast. This hotel is very pet friendly. This is great if you have a pet but not so great if your kid has a dog allergy. Because this is an extended stay place, there is more pet dander all around and could cause an allergy flare up. (Which is what happened for us.)

Definitely did us well as we traveled through Colorado. The kids enjoyed the pool and I was able to do my laundry from a weeks worth vacation before heading home! So reasonably priced too!

Great accommodations. I didn't give five stars because the breakfast was horrible. Eggs looked like something from my granddaughters play set and the bacon turned to shavings in my mouth so I had to spit it out. My dog wouldn't even eat it. The scones were burnt too. This is our favorite place to stay though so we will keep going back. Just eat the cereal or bagels and you will not be disappointed.

Room and grounds were nice with play yard for kids. But seems that breakfast ends when they run out...early, and they don't mind ignoring you while you wait in vain.

This was an apartment, not your regular room. It was so amazing I didn't want to leave. It had a kitchen with stove and oven, full size fridge, and a king size bed! There were other rooms that slept 8! I will definitely be coming back.

This was a very nice very clean place to stay. The room was spotless and comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. I was staying with my husband but I would definitely stay with my family as there was plenty of room, a playground, pool, and social area.

We were pleased with the cleanliness and size of the room. We had a two bedroom, 2 bath suite. One bedroom was on the 1st floor with double doors and the other was on the 2nd floor loft along with the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable.

We had a view towards Pikes Peak. It was beautiful to look at while in our room. The complimentary breakfast was good and they had plenty of choices. The front desk team was courteous and polite.

Former townhome-like layout of suites. Good sized room with full kitchen and living room. Had a wood burning fireplace but a warning that you shouldn't burn logs and no other instructions or suggestions. Helpful staff; small basic breakfast options.

We only stayed one night, but it was a good stay. Check in was fast and easy. Any staff we encountered were very, very, nice and friendly. We stayed in one of the two story rooms. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The room could have used some maintance and updating (the doors to the double beds didn't stay shut, the lower bathtub had soap all over, the railing on the stairs was loose, etc.). Otherwise it was a nice room and the dishes were great to have. The breakfast was a decent selection and everything tasted great. We look forward to staying at other Sonesta hotels in the future!

Hands down, the best place to stay in Colorado Springs! Shannon was extremely helpful pointing to local favorites. She and the staff worked tirelessly to make our stay an unforgettable experience. The room was very spacious with attention to the smallest details. The towels were the most fluffy and soft towels I've ever used. The beds were so comfortable that getting up was difficult. Tech friendly USB ports everywhere made charging devices simple and convenient. Food was great, laundry equipment for the extended stays was perfect. I literally felt like it was a home away from home! Can't wait to come back to let the kids swim and enjoy the play area.

I've been very happy with my stay here. Minor issues here and there (running out of food at breakfast, slow to drain tub, card reader on the door can be iffy) but everything else is great. The staff have been amazing and have gone out of their way to work if my babies nap schedual.

The staff here have been amazing. We are staying here with our ten month old whom has a dairy allergy. They let me check the ingredients on all the food items served for breakfast and have offered to buy special items for us. The house keeping staff are willing to work around my son's nap schedule and are very flexible. Over all I have been very impressed with the service here.

Pros:
Nice place with recently remodeled rooms. The 2 bedroom loft room is very spacious and allows for the feeling of a much larger space with its high vaulted ceilings. When staying in a hotel suite for weeks or more this feeling of openness helps alot.

Cons:
The location next to Academy makes for alot of noise with a concerning amount of emergency vehicles, probably due to a hospital or fire dept near by. Some of the staff were clueless wjen attempting to extend the reservation but others were very helpful. Noelle was the best. Breakfast was ok, but it changed alot and quickly became less and less appealing. No milk cartons, only milk in pictures meant you had no idea what kind of milk it was.

All in all we enjoyed our stay and found it to be one of the best extended stay suites and by far the best value.

Absolutely wonderful. Entire property being renovated. New rooms are beautiful. Great value for overnight or extended stay guests. A full stove/oven is rare. Usually just a cook top, not here, all appliances are stainless steel. Sealy Perfect Sleeper king bedding. Location is near everything imaginable. Pet friendly.

The room was clean and the staff was super friendly. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and dipped in the center. Plus the street next to it was pretty busy and a little loud. Overall though it was a pleasant stay.

One of the better locations we have stayed at. The front desk staff were amazing. Sarah, was extremely efficient , even when assisting multiple guests. The property is in really good shape and has a lot to offer. The breakfast area and food were really good! The view of the mountains was fantastic! Great location. Quiet! Housekeeping staff very good.
