A bit dated decor. It really just is a hotel with a spa and saunas not entirely over the top luxury. The crystals everywhere are a bit much. Breakfast was fantastic. With a discount or promo or off season rate.. it would be worth it.

Quiet and nice rooms but it was hot and smoky out. AC could not keep up with the outside temp so room never dipped below 22c when set at 18c. Dinner was nice at Peak Fine but was sat near the fireplace and it was very warm, normally don't sweat when we eat. Besides the heat it was nice.

My wife booked this resort to celebrate my birthday. Weather was perfect. 4 n half hour drive from Vancouver BC. I am so much in love with this place. Perfect getaway. Customer service is The Best part of this hotel. We had some shower water leakage problem very first night. They sent someone to check it immediately. Once they figured they couldn't fix problem, they immediately shifted us to a deluxe room upstairs without any extra cost. That's kind of professionalism we like. I have nothing negative to say. There is long list of positive things I could write here. Please experience it yourself. You ll fall in love with this place immediately. Thank you everyone in staff for maintaining the high standards. Hats off.

A very nice place to get away for a break. The rooms are clean and well maintained - I'd even say their maintenance has improved over the last 2-3 years. My wife and I both really enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool and all of the spas, the pools always seem clean and well cared for. The food in the dining room is very good - it's not cheap but it's worth the price. The staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. The only downside is that they have stopped employing RMT's for their massage services.

All in all I would say it's lots of fun... but this trip there was something wrong with the pool we both got weird issues from the water... one of us in her sinuses and the other one has an eye infection.

The breakfast was lackluster, but the service was good. we still really love going to sparkling Hill, but I think it's going to be off the list of fun places to hang out for a while. For the price, I'm not sure it's a great value.

First time is lots of Fun. Just wear goggles in the pool.

Such beautiful views from the lakeside room. Service was amazing. Best complimentary breakfast I have ever had, with so much selection to chose from. High quality food, pricey but well worth it. The Kur Spa is such an awesome add on. Had such a relaxing time, will definitely be back again.

Excellent steam rooms, mystery showers, infinity pool and the stepping pool was neat. Was disappointed that there weren't more hot and cold pools (there was one hot tub and one big infinity pool outdoors). Some of the staff were very helpful and some weren't at all. For the price of the room, I was expecting better service. Our room was nice but the shower leaked all over. I had a lovely massage in the morning but there was some confusion about how long you could stay in the spa when you checked out.

This Spa Hotel is very unique. In fact Sparkling Hill is a Health Spa with a Hotel attached (not just a hotel with spa facilities). The location is superb with great views high above the surrounding area. The staff are genuine on all levels. With 3 nights, there was only so much relaxing we could do. Thanks for the great getaway and we will be back ......

The location and hotel is beautiful. I would recommend upgrading your room, our view on the 1st floor was impeded by the roof over the pool. Somewhat disappointed in the pool glass which was very dirty and affected the view from the outdoor pool. Easter brunch was an included bonus we very much enjoyed, with creative flair from the chefs. The experience showers are amazing, don't overlook them!

Beautiful resort and wonderful stay! The hotel itself and location are idyllic, and it's easy to feel instantly relaxed as soon as you arrive. The spa was wonderful and had a ton of different features and services to try and all of the staff were helpful, nice, and accommodating. The only criticism - not unlike other reviews - I would have is the location of some of the rooms... the baths in the rooms are a great feature, but if you're put in a room close to the pool, you have to wait until the pool closes to feel like you have enough privacy to actually use it.

The corner room was lovely, with spectacular panoramic views. The restaurant and menu could do with a bit of an update, although the food was well prepared and tasty. We felt a bit rushed at dinner, ordering aperitif, entree and main at the same time; when the kitchen forgot our mains, they came out late for free in recognition, which was more than we expected. The breakfast setup was a bit disappointing, taking far longer than necessary to seat people for an adequate buffet style breakfast. The pools and saunas were great, despite some inconsiderate guests speaking constantly at volume (no fault of the resort) it would be great if they remained open between 11 and 4 to help ameliorate the rush in the morning and evening, giving people time to enjoy at their leisure. Cleaning of these types of facilities should appropriately be carried out at night

This place is beautiful! Our room was spacious enough for the three of us but it is designed for couples really (it isn't the most private shower). The staff are so friendly and helpful with everything. Even if you don't get spa services the pools and steam rooms plus the tea room and serenity rooms are very relaxing and rejuvenating. Of the two spa services I got my favour was the Milk and Honey Wrap, would definitely recommend. The dinner was beautiful and so delicious as well. All and all a wonderful place to relax, take in the sights and revitalize yourself.

Amazing stay with attentive staff. The spa itself was immaculate, although it does get fairly crowded in the steam/sauna areas. Dinner was fantastic and we had a great view of the lake. Rooms were very comfortable, mattress was probably one of the best that I've been on. I highly recommend this place!

The first time you visit and enjoy the steam rooms and amenities it is fantastic experience. It is mostly the other guests that seem to tarnish the sparkle. As you try to relax and let your mind go blank - there always people that feel the need to start conversations with others, or rowdy teenagers - all of whom make you out to be the bad guy if you remind them that "spa voices & hushed tones only" are allowed, as per the signage. It would be great if management would actually enforce this somewhat... help others understand what the relaxing spa experience is supposed to be, and have the courtesy to not tarnish it for others.
The food is excellent, and the rooms are very nice - although not cleaned as thoroughly as one would expect (noticed thick dust on top of cabinetry).

Amazing place, great views, loved the outdoor warm pool to soak in while watching the lake and hill side.

Pricey in-house restaurant but good food there. Would recommend eating at Vernon instead (15 mins drive away, gazillions of options).

The complimentary breakfast was outstanding, both for food quality and service!

I would recommend telling the steward at the entrance that you don't mind waiting a few minutes more for breakfast, in order to get a window seat at the restaurant for breakfast. Totally worth it!

Exquisite experience of Okanagan valley right from your room. Enjoyed the complimentary spa and amenities. Friendly front / restaurant staff with valet services. Restaurant offers amazing view but the quality of food is inferior compared to the rest of the facility. Getting hold of concierge from your room phone is also challenging as the phone line seems to be always tied up.

This is a fabulous hotel complete with saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, indoor and outdoor pools. Services are excellent, staff very friendly. The rooms are beautiful with magnificent views of the mountains and Lake Okanagan.
Wonderful place to relax. Overall, a great experience and we will most likely return.

The area is gorgeous. We had a Lakeview room but I've heard the mountain view is also terrific. Plenty of steam room and sauna options, all very relaxing. Outdoor infinity pool with a great view of the lake, there's also an indoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast buffet has plenty of options and tastes great. The staff at the breakfast and both restaurants are incredibly friendly. You get what you pay for here and it was a great experience. The only thing I would have liked was if they had a massaged therapist that would have been covered through work benefits. Keep an eye out for deals and discounts if you plan on attending. I will absolutely be staying again in the future. I recommend two nights as one night can feel rushed and less relaxing.

Fantastic hotel and spa! Rooms are amazing, decor is stunning, and the large 2 person soaker tub in the room is great!
The atmosphere in the hotel is very relaxing, most of the time you just walk around wearing your bathrobe.
The spa located in the hotel is one of the best perks of staying here though. The saunas are unbelievable, pools are just perfect temperature, and the spa staff are very friendly.
The only drawback is the dinner price and quality. Food was fine, but definitely not worth the amounts charged for dinner. On the plus side, very little salt is used in food preparation.

Another great stay! Check in was quick, room ready early, and it was clean. 2 issues though: 1) The outside of the windows and glass partition to the outside were extremely dirty. Not from rain or weather, but spilled drinks and smears. Really changes that view! 2) The fish smell in the lobby, outside our room (116) and when we opened our window after dinner service was absolutely disgusting. The ventilation needs to be looked at immediately.

This place was amazing! Unlike any other place I've been. The rooms are stunning, and every single window in the place has a terrific view and comfy chairs set up to enjoy it. The spa itself was such an experience, all the different themed saunas were so cool! The hot-cold walking pool is so amazing, we walked it a few times a day. The complementary breakfast was also wonderful, there is so much thought and pampering that goes into each of the rooms here! Would highly recommend this place to treat yourself or others. Also very accessible-friendly and easy to find. Perfect for everyone.

We stayed only for one night. Fantastic room with great lake and mountain view. Breakfast buffet was good with everything you need. Did not go to the restaurant because we were told from friends and family it is not worth to go there. But overall we enjoyed our stay and the spa.

Excellent and professional staff all around! The buffet breakfast is really impressive, excellent wine list, and dinner was great. The saunas and baths are really the big thing and did not disappoint. There isn't a bar in the spa/pool area though, and we Haskins of expected that wine by the pool would be available. No such luck, oh well. The rooms are a bit weird for non-couples (glass shower and bath in the main area), but manageable and beautiful!

Have stayed here for several years and there is recently a noticeable decline in the quality of the services. The atmosphere and the service are still very good however seems like a bean counter has decided to trim things to cut costs. Simple things like turning the outdoor pool temperature down and the hot tub or cutting the meat a bit thin (prime rib should be min 1” thick not a flank steak). The ice room spa is not so icy anymore as well. Towels getting a bit worn and buffets a few less items to enjoy, watered down shampoo. Again still beautiful scenery and staff are very friendly. Hopefully the quality is not lost with accounting calling the shots.

We booked Sparkling Hill for my Mother in law's birthday. The saunas and pools were lovely. I was able to relax and enjoy a child free night. The buffet was delicious and there was a lot of variety. My one critism I would be that we booked for four people, but our room was only stocked for two. We had to call down three times before they could bring us extra robes and towels. This meant we missed out on an extra hour of spa time.

The hotel is amazing and the spa is amazing. Breakfast is even great too. What really needs improving here is the dinner service. This place is 110% worth going to, just find alternative plans for dinner if you're expecting a similar experience to the rest of the hotel. We loved it we will be back definitely, but that Dinner Show left a bit to be desired. This was my second visit with similar sentiments.

A first class yet relaxing casual experience. Fantastic breakfast to set up your day followed by an afternoon of theme spas and a warm indoor pool then letting the snow fall on your face while enjoying the warm outdoor pool. Wrap it all off with a relaxing hot tub then do it all again if you want. Absolutely a dream come true.

It was a great girls getaway. We felt pampered as soon as we drove up. The buffet breakfast isn't the greatest, pretty boring options in my opinion. My only big complaint is that they need to be more strict with the level of noise in the spa/pool areas. Other than a few times where I was slightly annoyed by other guests I left feeling completely relaxed and that I definitely got my money's worth. I'm hoping to go back with my husband next time.

The place is well maintained. Staff is great. Food exquisite. Excellent selection of services, treatment and amenities that keeps you "busy" relaxing all day. The only thing I didn't really like was the lack of reinforcement on dress code for the dining area. Tonight some one showed up in pyjama pants and slippers. Pretty disappointed for a fancy wedding anniversary night. Certainly not smart casual.

I have been to sparkling hill many times and have always had a fantastic experience. We always look forward to treating ourselves to a night here. Plus they give discounts in the winter which is amazing and much appreciated. Staff is very friendly and the spas are so relaxing. ( more vegan options will always be welcomed)

Great relaxing experience. The steam rooms, pools, tea room and serinity room were very clean and inviting. Breakfast was excellent. Service was good and the rooms were clean but could use a little more attention to cleaning detail.
Overall great experience.
I would only recommend that a coffee/tea maker be put in the rooms and the rooms get a small make over or touch up.
Would go back.

Fantastic venue in the picturesque valley between Vernon and Kelowna. It's the perfect place to go of you want to be papered for a weekend or weekday getaway. My favorite part is the sauna room which houses several different types of saunas to try out, it's quite the experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of your needs. We did the super cold therapy room while we were there and it was a one of a kind experience that you cannot miss. Will definitely come again.

Very nice resort, overall a very good experience.

-The breakfast buffet was very good and a large selection each morning.
-The Spa and Steam rooms were great definitely a nice way to relax.
-We stayed in a lake front room, the overall room was fine. The furniture in the room along with some of the resort is starting to get a bit dated.(AC in the room didn't go a low as we would have liked)
-Dinner in the dining room was fine as well, a bit overpriced for the quality but still enjoyed the experience.

This is the type of place to check out once to relax and recharge, I would have preferred to stay at predator ridge and pay to use the spa facility.

Room was luxurious and beautiful. One of my most memorable experiences was the spa. I would recommend everyone try this if you stay at this resort. It's amazing how the spa and complementary breakfast are all included. Breakfast was pretty good. I find the food at the restaurant overpriced for what you get. Overall good experience with the exception of smoke blocking views due to wildfires in the area at the time of my stay (resort not to blame).

Whoever said money can't buy happiness never stayed at Sparkling Hill. Room A + , View A ++, SPA A +++++ , location A++++. The menu needs some work this time around, but no real complaints about the taste. Just the brunch was average... and too many meaty dishes on the room & dinner menu. I opted out of dining because I just couldn't find light enough fare; and the salads seemed rather average. But lets talk about the VIEW, LOCATION, SPA & ROOM!! Absolutely stunning!! Love, love, love, Sparkling Hill!!

It was a VERY nice stay. The views are spectacular. We stayed in a lake view which I would definitely recommend. The staff is all very friendly from the front desk to the restaurant, to everywhere we went. The food was delicious and nicely presented. The complimentary breakfast had a nice spread. The room was beautiful along with the whole hotel, the Crystal touches and pieces they have scattered throughout really are lovely. The Kurspa is a great experience. I loved the Tea room and Serenity room, it was all truly relaxing. I'd definitely stay for at least 2 nights next time to be able to fully take in the experience, 1 night didn't feel like quite enough.

The rooms were nice. The spa facilities were exceptional, but the spa services were only average. The food was very below average. the appetizers were not good at all, they don't know how to cook a steak to "medium", the nightly special roast was super dry, the salmon was not good......... 2 nights in a row we had to wait over an hour for our main courses to be served, i almost didn't want the food anymore. I was expecting much more for the price point.

We booked 2 days for my wife's birthday. Very clean facility, great saunas, steam rooms and cold rooms. Nice indoor and outdoor pools. Not sure why outdoor pool was heated in middle of summer?? Very good breakfast. Massages were OK. The view from both sides of hotel was stunning (lake view or mountain view). All around great place to go and relax. The only item they could improve on, is to keep steam room and sauna open longer during the day (they close from 1100 until 1600)(They say closed for maintenance, but 11 Am is check-out and 1600 is check-in). Definitely recommend to others.
