12 of my friends and I were in town for a convention, we were able to book 3 separate rooms at different times with ease and they even honored our request to stay on the same floor. the room was clean and nice, the a/c works very well (almost too well lol). And the walk to the convention center is a breeze, even in heels. Also, their breakfast was great, the lobby was large enough for all of us plus more and the buffet variety was welcome. Thank you so much to the staff of this hotel, we would definitely stay here again should we be in the area.

This hotel is pretty decent. It is an older hotel but it has been remodeled. The room is pretty big and spacious. The location is very convenient to the Riverwalk, Alamo, and Downtown. The staff was friendly as well. I would probably recommend this hotel.

Parking is a bit difficult being a downtown hotel if you don't pay for valet. However, being a downtown hotel, that's expected. Close to the major tourist attractions and event spaces like the convention center. Pool and bar areas are shared between Spring Hill and Residence Inn both by Marriott. They have a connected hallway to the lobbies. Can be confusing to get to the bar and/or pool without directions but once you figure it out, it's fine. Staff is great. Rooms are nice. Would stay again.

Amazing experience at such a short distance from all the attraction from downtown. Stuff was amazing, friendly, courteous, helpful. Valet guys took awesome care of the cars. Breakfast people kept everything stocked and clean. Total luxurious and relaxing feeling.

Great stay when in town for a conference recently. Very attentive staff- Jerry in maintenance and Angel in the valet in particular. They were both extremely polite and more than helpful on multiple occasions during my nearly week long stay. Great location near the convention center (easily walking distance even in the Texas heat for me). I'll definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

One of my favorite places to stay when in San Antonio! The Vallet is great! Mr Ernest is such a pleasure- I hope he is still there! Good Sized Rooms, Decent Decor and Clean! Walking distance to ALAMO and RIVERCENTER MALL.

We stayed in room 400. The room was great, service was good, and for the price it's a great hotel. The biggest problem was the giant gaps at the bottom of the room doors. Made me feel like there was no privacy. They all appeared to be that way, so it's not an oddity specific to this room. The hotel breakfast was also crowded and disappointing. They might consider a redesign of that space.

Great hotel and staff, excellent customer service and just a short walk away from the Alamo and River Walk. Loved this hotel and location, will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend it.

Amazing stay, amazing place, amazing location, AMAZING STAFF! Came in for a Late week family trip. check in was swift, place was clean, even better the ROOM WAS CLEAN. Not too shabby of a view. Obviously in downtown SA you might see the top of a building or alley, but a good view non the less. River walk, restaurants, shopping, THE ALAMO, and food was a hop, skip, and a jump away. The Assistant GM, was the one that actually checked me in at 5pm, he was outstanding! I was told the place was just renovated where they added a bar to the place, always fun when a bar is easily located. the pool area actually has a window to order from the bar, as to not have to leave the pool area. GREAT IDEA! I believe the bartenders name was Rebecca and a new bartender (can't remember her name, very sorry I can't, but was working Thursday the 24th) were both outstanding. The breakfast was outstanding, considering it is hard for places to deviate from the menu, they made it taste good and the line flowed swiftly. Thanks for the great stay, my family and I loved it!

Valet parking was a good experience for me. They were quick to help us out and very respectful to my wife. Helped unload our truck. Then we went to check in and again was treated well. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Not only did the staff did there job they did it well. They set the bar high for other 3 to 4 star hotels. Overall great experienced. Great location, you are at the Alamo in a 5 to 6 minute walk. Staying here again.

Great hotel with super comfy beds and great staff. The breakfast was just okay but we also just barely made it before they closed for the morning so that probably had a lot to do with it. The location is great and close to everything in San Antonio.

What a nice place! The whole building I'd recently remodeled. They did a great job!

My suite was comfortable and spacious. It was a nice quiet space to work and rest. (That is saying something...I stayed there for eight days during the State Basketball Tournament. I was not part of those festivities.). The breakfast was superb quality with plenty of good food. The whole place is cleaner than any hotel I have stayed in...and I started staying in hotels on 1970. The staff, except the maintenance man, are all pleasant and helpful.

Great location! Convenient to convention center, Riverwalk, The Alamo, shpping and restaurants. Rooms being refreshed and renovated. Unfortunately, the new decor has taken away the signature look this brand used to have; new color scheme looks very generic.

Everything smelled new and the breakfast spread was really good. It's less than a 10 minute walk to the Alamo/riverwalk so it's a really good location. The only downside was the overnight valet price. It was just a surprise when driving up, so keep that in mind.

Very modern, clean, and spacious. Hot breakfast was provided that changed each day. Staff was very accommodating for things like toothpaste and toothbrush. Bedding and towels were neatly changed each day.

It's a nice hotel with a good location. It's a very reasonable walk to The Alamo, the riverwalk and the convention center. Parking is $24 a night, but that seemed to be about the going rate for downtown parking. The rooms were slightly outdated, but well enough maintained. I'd stay here again. We always have a good time in San Antonio.

The room is very nice and clean. It is great that it is within walking distance of everything I planned to do. The breakfast is very good for a buffet. My only complaint is it takes a very long time for the water in the room to get hot.

Very clean room with everything in order. Good lighting here which is always something lacking at others. This particular hotel is within walking distance of the mall but at the same time you may need to vallet your car during busy seasons where the mall parking is packed.

Rooms are clean and nice. But, you'll have to pay valet to park and if you make it after hours, you'll have to park it yourself. The only parking available close by is limited street parking which you'd have pay from 8 am onwards. Preferably stay somewhere further away from downtown.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

5stars because after going through 2 different hotels and them turning us down due to having no credit card , we came into this hotel and they willingly accepted us as well as accommodating our every need and giving us a special deal because it was my husband's birthday. They seriously turned the whole night around so thank you Martin & Enrique! On top of that the room was amazing no issues here at all!! Our go to hotel from here on out!

Staff friendly, typical free buffet breakfast, staff friendly, parking expensive, pool, comfy lounge areas, our bed in Room 500 lists and was very uncomfortable. The housekeeper was on the phone the entire time and cleaned the room and even made the bed with one hand!

The hotel is very nice and it is in an outstanding location in downtown San Antonio. I parked on the street for a CHEAP 30 cents per hour, but I think you can also pay for overnight parking at the mall next door. I wasn't here long, only to meet someone for business, but the hotel has kind staff and a free to use business center to go online and print documents. I am pleased to have had the opportunity to come here.

Jennifer at the front desk was wonderful! She went out of her way to accommodate our needs. She greeted us by name each time we entered and exited the hotel. The hotel was well maintained and within walking distance to most downtown attractions. Recommend.

7

Great downtown location only a quick walk to the Alamo but far enough away to have a peaceful stay. We were able to walk to a lot of the tourist attractions and restaurants and took the bus to places too far away. Breakfast tasted great but the selection could have been better and there were no potatoes. Also the bathroom sink and mirror were separate from the shower and toilet so it wasn't much privacy when using the sink. Overall great stay and great price.

I love this place!!! So clean and the room has everything you need to be comfortable. Lamps attached to headboard, sink for washing dishes, extra bedding to use on couch if needed, Paul Mitchell products and very spacious! No bad smells and the most wonderful bed and pillows of my life. I had the best sleep ever. I was amazed by it's super fast WiFi. Pool and hot tub were clean. Lastly the valet service was good. It is pricey but I did appreciate it. Hotel is very close to River Walk and after 2am there are quite of few people asking for money. I arrived to the hotel at 4am and we were approached by 3 people asking for money. I am the type of person who has to help if someone needs it and it's really hard for me to say no. There is cheaper parking near by but if you don't want to be constantly be asked to give money I highly recommend the valet parking.

Rooms are spacious, employees are very attentive and willing to help. Be aware that this is a popular hotel with student groups so your wait for the free breakfast could be long. Breakfast wait times are listed on a sign in the elevators. Nice facility, chic and well-kept.

Great service! Breakfast was awesome! Location couldn't be better! Literally around the corner from the Alamo and a block from the River walk. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is that the mattresses were a bit soft for my liking.

We loved our stay at the Springhill Suites. The facility was clean and welcoming, and the price was right. The breakfast was wonderful, especially the coffee. It was so conveniently located, being a block from the Alamo and about 3 blocks from the Riverwalk. Every single staff member was exceptionally helpful and friendly, which was the icing on the cake for me. I would have liked more drawer space in the room, and better lighting in the bathroom area. But that did not hinder the functionality of our room. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this facility.

This place was centrally located to the Riverwalk, right across the street from the Alamo. They had a wonderful free breakfast every morning, not your standard continental breakfast. The rooms were very spacious and clean. All the employee's were extremely helpful. They made sure, you were well taken care of. Very pleased!!

The service was very good. The bed was not great though. It sunk in the middle so I kept rolling to the middle of the king size bed. The coffee was great the first morning but the second morning it was very weak. They did replace it right away. The breakfast was very good. The location was good for what we were there for: the Alamo ad the River Run.

The rooms are very large and the beds are nice. But our room smelled damp.

The breakfast is average, and the lollipops at the counter are good. Also the wine is cheap.

The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The ice water dispenser (with lemon wheels in it) near the front desk is a nice touch, however, I recommend they use filtered water, as it seemed highly chlorinated, so much so, that neither my wife nor I could drink it. The hotel is close to the Alamo and the river walk. The breakfast was great and included scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, ham slices, bagels, waffles, yogurt.... pretty much everything anyone might want. Even the coffee was good!

The location is perfect! SpringHill Suites is right in between the Riverwalk and the Alamo. The rooms are very spacious. They include a sofa bed, refrigerator, microwave, blow dryer, and two sinks. We checked in at 12AM and the attendant at the front desk was treating us extremely rude! We then asked where would be best to park our vehicle and he responds extremely rude "you can either do the valet or park it on your own, that's it!" I don't remember this guy's name but this is not how you treat guest. We had this hotel booked for 3 nights. We immediately called to cancel our stay.

Updated hotel. Very nicely updated. My family stayed in a double queen with sofa. Sofa was a true long sofa where a 6' person could lay down without bending knees. Hotel staff went out of their way to keep the VERY busy breakfast area stocked and clean especially with a lot of families checked in. I understand their parking issue with valet only beings it is downtown. To have car ready, I just texted my reference number. Got a quick reply when car was downstairs. I received no unwanted spam texts after stay (bonus!). Attendant knew our checkout date and had my vehicle backed in for easy loading. My hotel had a great view of downtown and the Alamo compound. The distance to the river walk was acceptable because of no health issues. Fiesta Texas was an easy 25 minute drive time.

stayed here for the Valero bowl game so everything was in walking distance! the room is nice. the bed ares comfortable. they even had lights on the bed head for a late night reading. they had a lot of choices for breakfast. the only thing was that the staff was rather rude. but the room is worth the stay
