Awesome clean rooms comfy beds the pool only needs to be a little warmer but all round good place to stay

Stayed there three times...enjoyed my stay each time. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable each time. Will gladly stay there again.

It's not a 5 Star Hotel. But they did everything they could do to accommodate me. Clean shower. Wake up call. Hot Coffee. Definitely no- frills. But was glad they were there.

I stayed here for my 40th class reunion the price was great as well as the staff would stay there again.

Large room had two queen beds plus a large comfy sofa with coffee table, end table, lots of lamps, good sized fridge, nice tv. Clean. Good breakfast selections. Water tastes and smells like sulfur, though, so bring bottled. Accessed through the Country Market parking lot.

Very clean the owners/management was so nice and went out of the way to accommodate me due to a Disability from accident,I would definitely recommend this motel also very reasonable priced. 😀

Best place to stay in the area! The owners are the nicest people I've come in contact with. Rooms are perfect, very quiet. Love the laundry facility they offer as well.

Not much to the fault of the hotel itself (only complaint is a tiny bathroom), but the fact that this part of Monmouth smells like literal poop due to the pig slaughtering plant makes it a less than desirable area. Once you're inside the hotel it's fine, but being outside, it was the first time I've ever gagged from an outside environment.

Decent prices for below average rooms. Pool area is average. Friendly staff.

Nice place, well kept... Maybe over priced or maybe it's a "We charge according to who what and when"...

Every thing in my room was nice and clean. No smoke or sinful smells. Pulling in to the parking lot is threw the store next door. So if you are going west the traffic light just before the motel will be the turn to get in the parking lot.

We arrived late to a fully booked hotel, except a single room with a broken shower. Mr. Patel discounted the room for the night and provided a clean room for us to shower in the next morning. He was extremely helpful in every interaction. When he realized we finished breakfast with empty coffee pots, he made a fresh pot and called our room to let us know.

Clean room hot shower nice beds updated breakfast was not good at all. Not much to it but coffee was hot ,Wi-Fi and a small indoor pool . People are nice I would go back.

Rooms were nice, came with a fridge and microwave. Pool is very tiny but does have indoor pool. Free breakfast was not good!

Very nice people the rooms could use alittle updating but for what you pay it was good and quite. The only down fall is the pool was closed.

We stayed in the Jacuzzi room and it was well kept and pretty nice for the price. Breakfast was decent and went until about 9:30 in the morning.

Breakfast selection was awful. most of the items on the breakfast bar were expired ages ago. Hallway was filled with cig. smoke stench.. could have confined the smoking rooms to a side. Room was clean and ok. Manager/ Owner is a nice and friendly guy.

It was quiet, not much traffic, great self serve continental breakfast with plenty of fresh items to choose from.

Arrived late and some people where hanging around outside and kind of load. Odd they did appear to be staying. Room's clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly.

I usually show up late and they're booked or its the last room. If it's booked and someone has made a reservation and is late hell call them and find out if they're coming or not. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Close to a grocery store. I'm vary satisfied when I stay there

The best hotel in monmouth very nice and clean rooms the staff were very professional and went out of there way to make sure ur stay was outstanding . If in monmouth stay here not Americ inn there horrible

Very very clean hotel room! The staff was very nice and made sure everything was well. I would recommend this location to anyone going to visit! Indoor pool ( we didn't use it but it was available) also a good breakfast!
Also rooms didn't smell! From experience from traveling , a lot of places have a left over cigarette smell...none here!

My wife and I have never stayed at a hotel were the manger (Kaushik Patel) and the staff were so helpful and friendly. They did everything they could to make our stay extraordinary. The room was excellent as was the rest of the hotel. We have stayed at much more expensive hotels and they were not nearly as good as the Super 8 in Momouth, IL. Highly recommend Super 8 in Monmouth.

I just stayed 3 nights and liked it. Great value for the money. It isnt the Ritz but it was clean and quiet. The manager was very courteous and I would stay there again.

If you don't mind the smell of curry and a little smoke, it's okay. I paid $60 and that probably about right for what you get. Average for a Super 8.

Inexpensive and clean. The indoor pool and the pop machines were both out of order, but neither affected our stay. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable (if a little on the soft side). The in-room fridge worked well (there was also a microwave that we didn't use). The complimentary breakfast had a small selection compared to many sub-$100 hotels, but it was adequate and tasted good. I'd definitely stay there again.

This was a great hotel with excellent service. The beds were comfortable and nights were quiet. When I did have an issue with something they handled it right away with a great attitude and a smile. I would definitely stay here again.
