Probably it is the most suitable location in Bangkok specially tourists coming from Indian Sub Continent. Hotel service, foods and accomodation is reasonable and good. All the amusement and shopping facilities are within walking distance. Bangladeshi and Indian tourism facilities providers are available in the complex who provide budget and safe facilities. Anyone who likes to take Bangladeshi or Indian cuisine and halal foods, good restaurants are available adjacent to the hotel.

Certainly a beautiful hotel to stay at, however some sights were displeasing because of the environment. But the staff were great and very friendly. The buffet breakfast had around 30/40 items but they were really good. I specially loved their breakfast items.
We stayed in the tower wing which is a new addition to the hotel. Unfortunately the rooms were only spacious nothing else was new about it. The bathrooms didn't even come with a bathtub. However the stay was very pleasant.

Had room 1794. Nice view of the city. No hot water in the shower although the sink had hot water, not so great experience first thing in the morning. Rooms were very clean and the A/C blows cold. Day time staff was nice and night time staff not so nice. Breakfast buffet sucks. Lunch buffet is better but also needs work.

Very nice hotel. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are comfortable. Gym is great though could use more equipment. The only problem, unfortunate for this hotel, is the location. Nearby are good restaurants, but if you want to walk to the metro or to the mall you have to go through some very bad areas. Prostitution is extremely high in this area. The night market you walk through has a many stalls selling adult items. This makes the hotel not somewhere you would want to take families or without your wife. UNLESS every time you leave the hotel you have the front desk call a cab to pick you up at the door.

The facilities are nice and (most of) the staff are fairly friendly. They lose points for the beds though. A higher end hotel should be able to afford beds that aren’t lumpy spring mattresses. Location is good and easy to find and I would consider staying there again.

Very good price. Very kind and helpful staff. Breakfast is delicious and includes Halal meals. Can ask for rooms with Muslim showers or a smoking room. Lovely design. Would love to stay here again.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. Hotel is just 200m from bus stop, around 500 m from Metro Station, and around 1km from Terminal 21. There is a good bar in the hotel itself.

Check-in is fast, and people are courteous. Rooms are big. Decor of the room is just OK. View from higher floors is great.

In-room dining is good. Housekeeping is good, and they change sheets everyday without asking.

This hotel has an amazing view on the top floor with the pool. All the facilities are of high quality. The fitness room has high tech utility. The breakfast buffet has everything one could imagine. The rooms are excellent with a very high standard. The staff is very kind and helpful and it's easy to feel they want to go the extra mile in order to meet the needs of their guests.

There's a lot of traffic on the street and, obviously, there's a lot of Chinese people around in Chinatown.

PROS: Location is very good. 7 Eleven, money exchange restaurants specially Indian and Bengali all are near by. You can find travel agency inside hotel corridor. Room condition is very good and well maintained. Staffs are really friendly with customer and helpful. Room service are very fast.
Cons: I couldn't find any. Food price is high compared to hotel price.

It's in the most happening street.

Very huge place

Best hotel for Indians

Lot of Indian restaurants available in same street.

Connects to city through NANA - BTS

Plenty of massage parlours for relaxation.

One of the older hotels in Bangkok centre (2 min from sukhumvit). Friendly staff, clean rooms and half as expensive as the other high end hotels around that area. Great tailors in the lobby that will have your tailor-fit clothes ready by the next morning.
The intercontinental breakfast buffet though seems to be prepared by someone who is new in that field. A choice of affordable bakeries in front of the hotel makes me recommend to use those and opt for a stay without included breakfast.

Welcome to nostalgia! What a charming historical and elegant hotel. Has , thanks god, resisted over-modernizing, but loyal to the quality and history of the place, yet it has an outstanding feeling of comfort, and luxury. Not crowded, and my favorite place for business meetings.

Large hotel, near metro. Large outdoor swimming pool with seating nearby, equipped workout area, several restaurants, several common areas with seating, well air conditioned.
Rooms are clean and maintained.

Conveniently located near the Metro. Warm, friendly staff. Large room with a comfortable bed. Only negative is all the street noise, which they obviously have no control over. To/from the international airport will cost you, including tolls, about 400 Baht each way.

Rooms and meals are good. Front office staff not very friendly probably as they are busy all the time. Not the most peaceful and beautiful surrounding but good for shoppers. Not so good for a vacation.

5

Very luxurious common areas in the hotel which left a strong impression. The room itself (deluxe room) was very serviceable but the wifi was heavily restricted. This is much more of a hotel to be at if you are on a vacation and don't want to splurge (or stay connected), than a business hotel. The in-hotel tailor is great though, as is the breakfast buffet.

The hotel is gorgeous but the refrigerator is too cold. I cant not increase the temperature although adjusting the round button. The room space is very beautiful with city view and and special design. Breakfast in the morning is variety and delicious. However, the way hotel manage room card is not good, room may be not secure.

I love this place, been coming for 20 years so some nostalgia. Sure not the most modern hotel but love the big open communal areas like the aviary, swimming pool, gym and shopping arcade. But you should stay in the better Tower block. Location can't be bettered, supermarket next door, 5 min walk to Nana BTS. Rooms have everything you need and the large beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in. I will always come back here

One of the sexy Hotel. Awesome service. Breakfast is most mouthwatering. And sexy swimming pool. I love this hotel, service were too good and amazing. It is located in Sukhumvit 31 that is very nice place and surrounded by a best market if you go out side to the hotel you will feel the environment of Bangkok. It is the crowded place most of the time even in night it self.

For a short stay with low budget, this is a good choice. It is close to the Nana train station and walking distance to shopping districts. Breakfast is ok. Food quality requires some refreshing. It's an older building. So do not expect facilities and amenities to be top of the market. Overall, it's been a pleasant stay

Nice location and enjoyed the breakfast buffet.. well worth it for the 150 baht/person..get there earlier to beat the rush. The tower rooms are cleaner, larger, and the bed was way more comfortable then the last room we had in the old/standard wing.

One the heart of the city, so you can go to every places easily. And about the hotel, it's really good and it has got all the facilities of a 5 star hotel. The rooms in tower building are new and better.

For some reason this place is very popular among Indian and Bangladeshi guests. Overall it is not a bad place - big hotel with good food. But the place is old - the rooms' fixtures are falling apart and there is a weird old carpet smell all around. But most annoying thing is the limited staff they have in reception even during check in and check out time. I haven't seen such long queues in any hotel for check in and check out. I think they should employ more people. Overall, the value for money is not with this place.

Rooms are decent, bathroom are average service is average.

Though they have check in timing as 2:00, but sounds weird when they ask for more money to give 5o give u room little early. As for international travellers the flight lands at early morning only.

In my room even basic things like hand towel and bath towels were missing.
Some of the other things which now a days are standard, were missing for e.g.moisturizer.

Carpet in the room was dirty and looked bad.

Location of the hotel is an advantage as lot of shopping malls are nearby.

Thanks

A very decent property to stay at. Staff's humble behavior looted my heart at every point of service they rendered. The quality of food served here is awesome. Rooms are very specious and have cozy beds and couches. Altough the property is located at the center of the market and all the shopping items can be bought from nearby shops. But the shopping complex at the ground floor of the hotel is itself a catchy part of convenience for the tourists here, where one can shop a variety of souvenirs. The prime turn-on of staying at this property was the night out. This place remains lively during whole night.

This hotel is located in the central hub of Bangkok. I had a lot of good memories here. The service efficiency of the hotel are good. The amenities, food served are also very good and hygiene. I have organized many training programmes with international trainee. I had also memory to stay couple of nights in this hotel. One can easily find out many Bangladeshi restaurants besides this hotel. Those restaurants are very good, in fact. People can easily enjoy the aerial view of Bangkok city from the top of this hotel.

Good hotel. But, the new wing is a loss of money.
Other features of these hotel are good, easy accessible to metro and other transportation and outside resturants.
But, the butler/room service is very slow.
Overall, convinient hotel to stat at a favouravle price

7

A wonderful 4 star hotel with a nice international breakfast and lunch restaurant. More restaurants and a Congress Center with many exhibitions. Nice swimming pool. Good rooms in the Tower. Lesser good in the Wing. Many shops in the hotel area, and among the best Jewelries in Bangkok, namely Porn Gems, since 1977. The nightclub in the cellar has unfortunately closed. The personal in the reception and the breakfast restaurant are professionel, and you feel recognized, because my family have used this hotel since February 1978. The prices affordable. But choose the Tower rooms.
Life around Soi 11 is amazing. The hotel is very close to Skytrain station Nana.

The wifi is the only problem. You don't get wifi in the room. Outside the room it's pretty good. It's also a bit far away from the shopping center. U can't walk from hotel to the shopping mall.

All that glitters is not gold, this phrase applies for Ambassador hotel as well. The hotel might look all nice and fancy from the outside but from inside the its like a lodge. Small stinky rooms, no proper facilities. Arrogant and I'll mannered staff.

This isn't a hotel but a cultural hotpot serving mostly the middle eastern and south asian tourist. Tower wing is new and nice, main wing needs updating. Infact the entire hotel could do with some TLC. The swimming pool is outright dangerous with the centre of the pool suddenly dipping to 10 ft from 5 ft around the edges. Only risk if you are a expert swimmer.
Still one of the best breakfast buffets in town and great hospitality.

Not what it seems. Wifi is a joke at best. Rooms are large and clean. Bathrooms are below par. I expected better for the price i paid. The lobby looks like it could be a 5 star hotel but after that its downhill all the way. The best thing this hotel has going for it now is the location.

It's a very convenient location. Almost every thing you need is around this place. Taxis freely available just out side the hotel. Sky train station '' NANA'' is a few meters away from the hotel. Sky train is the fastest mode of transport to avoid the vehicular traffic. Hotel is a nice place too for a stay. Recommended !

Can accommodate big groups, ours was over 300 people with more than 15 rooms
Rooms are average,
In bathroom hot water surges are there. Difficult to take bath.
Pool side had salty water
It was on a popular street with easily accessibility to skytrain as well
Plus a lot of restaurants nearby.
Buy drinks from seven 11 nearby.

The shower constantly had scalding hot water. Later it became a bit normal but time was wasted. Air conditioning system sucks. Can be noisy. Rooms are alright, very pretty in daylight. Location is ok. The view is petty. Interiors... Especially the lobby, are beautiful. But i liked other hotels in Bangkok better.

While the rooms were spacious and could sleep 3 people, the air quality from the room aircon was not clean & smelled stuffy. Housekeeping was helpful in providing extra blankets when requested. At the breakfast place, the wait staff's idea of cleaning the crumbs from the table was to sweep them to the floor! Food was plentiful...there were halal and vegetarian sections.

Decent hotel. Unfortunately the pool is on the cool side as it receives zero direct sunlight. Two other things keeping this from the stars- it seems the smoking area is in front of the entrance, so upon arrival you may very well have to wade through a cloud od cigarette smoke. The other is their non-effort to live up to their corporate responsibility statement that their towels grow trees. We stayed here 4 nights and although we hung our towels as instructed, housekeeping brought fresh towels and linens daily. So much for protecting the environment.

This hotel was really good. I couldn't find any flaws in this hotel other than the pool being small. This hotel is close to a small grocery store so you can go and buy whatever you want. The service done by the staff in the hotel are really good. The food is also really good there. I only had breakfast there since it was complimentary. I did not give 5 stars for this hotel because the pool was small. When I saw a photo, the pool seemed to look big but actually it was small, so don't get deceived by the photo. Other than the pool the hotel was really good. It is also close the metro railway so you can access other parts of the place easily. I will easily recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Bangkok.

- defenitely not a 4 or 5* hotel any more
- the positive thing is the room size
- but rooms are run down, will defenitely need a refurbishment
- breakfast is average, not a real good choice and quality
- stayed there a several times ... but will not any more
- much better hotels around for the same price

I have happy to receive the upgrade of room. Thanks for upgrade. I think the hotel improve it housekeeping as my room was not clean at 3 pm when i return to my room. In additon the toiletries provided can't compare with other accor 5 stars hotel. Accor might want to think to downgrade the stars given. Some example there is no shoes clothes, comb , shaver kit..i think some of the things are upon request. Shoes clothes definately not there as i requested it.

Beautiful hotel with incredible rooms and impeccable service in the best part of the city. Lots of shopping, restaurants, and nightlife within walking distance was the cherry on top. Views from the top floors feel like you are in the heart of NYC.

Also highly recommend adding the breakfast option when you reserve your stay. They serve all you can eat breakfast in all three of their restaurants (including poolside) and it is a great way to start your day.

Very good hotel. But the only problem was the pool. The pool looks big in the website, but it is actually small, so don't get cheated. Very friendly staff and the rooms are good but not the best. Hotel is close to some good malls and is also close to the railway station, so you can go from one place to another easily and since it is sky trains, it is more convenient. There is also a small grocery store close to the hotel, so u can get necessary stuff. In my opinion the hotel was good, looked clean, hygienic and breakfast was good but it was not the best hotel i have gone to when comparing it with other hotels i have gone in other countries. If u go to Bangkok, i can recommend u this hotel.
