Very nice setting for afternoon tea. Nice interior and polite staff. Lovely presentation. The downfall and the reason for a 3 star is ....they had tetley teabags!

Fab staff, lovely grounds, nice breakfast, decent priced bar. But the rooms can be a bit of a mission with going up and down several stairs yet all on the same floor. Some rooms haven't all been updated- not sure if they're staying turquoise or going corporate dark, but still nice amenities minus a cold a/c that's hard to get just right in summer for the price you pay.

Great place to relax and re-energize! Has air conditioning in the room, along with an optional refrigerator. Room was good sized, with plenty of room to walk around in. Spa and massage services available on site.

Went for lunch. Nice venue, gardens relaxing and overall a delightful ambiance. Food was well presented and tasted as good as it looked if you choose the right options.
Overall lunch at the Bromley Court Hotel was a pleasant experience and certainly an experience I will be having again in the near future. Probably the only negative was that the staff could be friendlier to their guests. Not that they were rude but didn't feel that this was the job they wanted to do.

Haven't stayed over here as I'm local, but I've had the food a couple of times and it's of a great standard. I highly recommend the Tempura Prawns! The staff are friendly and it's a very nice atmosphere. Ample parking and in a nice quiet area.

Such a great hotel for large gatherings, very open plan, stunning gardens and views you wouldn't expect as you enter the hotel from leafy suburbs

We've been here with a friend. Had early dinner and the food was lovely. There are nice places to just sit in and relax around the building. Although on a very sunny day the conservatory gets extremely hot. When asked to be relocated staff was surprised but offered a corner spot at a different /covered part of the room.

Room was good. Breakfast was the best. Been to so called fine dining breakfast not enough to fill a flee let alone adults. But the Bromley court was second to none. Yum.

We booked table for two for lunch. We were seated at the table with a nice view but it was way too hot. We asked to be seated somewhere else and it wasn't too much fuss for them. Our next table was well situated. Food and atmosphere were nice. I enjoyed my starter, it was tasty goat cheese with pesto. Then I had fish and chips- generous portion and nice, chunky chips. For dessert, my treacle tart was served. It was sweet and sour. I enjoyed. Wine was nice and chilled. In general- nice food, well presented. Restaurant is elegant but not stiffy. We were asked a few times, if everything is o.k. Staff was nice and diligent. I will be happy to go back there. Thank you.

Nice hotel. Lovely public areas and garden. Beautiful tiling in the bathroom. Great buffet breakfast. Room was a bit on the small side, eg could not open wardrobe fully because bed was in the way. We stayed the night before my brother's funeral and also attended the wake there and can see it would make a lovely wedding venue.

I stayed here because everywhere else was fully booked, wouldn't rush to go back either if you need to get your head down and your not bother about the decor then this is it, cheap and in need of updating along with the timer sauna.

Nice hotel... well presented rooms... cozy with dog beds. I have stayed here numerous times and never been disappointed.

Gym is small but it has one none the less if you are there long enough to want to use the gym. Grounds are beautiful in the summer. A lovely place to site during your stay and have a drink or two.

Good value for money... nice staff

Seems there is a lot of history of music out here (pics below) Perfect place for weddings and functions. Amazing garden at the back.

While attending a wedding, the staff were inattentive to the needs of the guests, not turning down music when it was obviously uncomfortable, or even giving warning that loud music was about to happen. The food was similarly badly handled, with some left without anything to eat.

7

Hotel was adequate for my needs. Clean room (found a ladies nail) but no Biggie. Other guests complained the rooms were small. Once parties started the bass travelled up to third floor (invest in a noise limiter) but once again I was ok with it. The strangest part was having three weddings going on simultaneously so it's a busy place. I would return as the grounds are nice and it is a nice retreat if not pricey for its offered product. (The garden restaurant part of the hotel is obviously why the hotel feels it should be in its price bracket)

Had an event in the Wellinton Suite, very clean and tidy, staff very pleasant. My only gripe would be the coffee in the flask dispenser was very weak and luke warm. This is a very minor issue. Would recommend this hotel for it's function rooms.

This hotel is has lots of nice character and is quite a grand building considering location. There is decent grounds out the back so ideal for weddings and celebrations with ample space for parking. The staff are friendly and helpful which is always a good sign. The rooms were well dressed and very clean. You can clearly see that there has been a refurbishment not so long ago as the bathroom was new and spotless.
The room itself was small and a little pokey but as I was on my own this was not so much an issue.
The distance to and from Bromley centre is around 15-20 mins walk but there are buss stops outside on the main road taking you into town.
All in all a present stay so I shall be retiring here again when I need to stay over.

The hotel interior was clean, fresh and there is lots of room. The staff was nice and remained at the background ( not too much in your face but always available and helpful). The food was really good. Home made, staple and very comforting. Gardens are really well maintained and beautiful. Lovely place to relax and work. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed.

5

Liked the hotel very easy to find and a comfortable stay my only real criricism is that the room service menu isn't very good and doesn't offer any vegan options and vegetarian options are limited. Also the rooms don't have translucent curtains so you have to close the black out curtains to get privacy which. Means you can't enjoy the natural light if you need privacy. The staff are wonderful!

40th Birthday Party at the Restaurant for around 34 guests surpassed our expectations.Service was very good, each and every guest without exception enjoyed the 3 course meal with the extras thrown in. Luke went out of his way to make sure the evening was a complete success. And we managed to shake hands with the Lord Mayor of Bromley, who came over to wish everyone. What a pleasant man.

Met a friend for dinner here. Good service. Food was good. Price was good. It's quite a remarkable space in crowded London. Huge gardens. But best of all is find someone who knows the history or read up on it. If you like music you'll freak out at the list of MEGA stars that have played here. I won't spoil the suprise. But I'm gutted to have missed those halcyon years.

Lovey hotel.. The doors slam a little hard which can be a pain if you're a light sleeper. The hotel did struggle to keep notice levels down when they had a wedding recently. Apart from that, it's worth it.

PS: I didn't pay for my stay, my company did

Friendly staff, modern rooms, some might say a little small but I think they're fine, comfortable bed, power socket next to the bed, room service food is good quality, I recommend the chilli con carne. No complaints for what I use it for and I use it often. It's much better than the budget options.

We were in the biggest room (can't remember the name but it is the one with the adjoining bar) and it was lovely. All of the staff were so helpful and polite and it's actually quite a grand feeling hotel. Which is not the experience you think you're going to have from the outside!

Room was great, clearly recently refurbished. Didn't sleep well but that was due to other guests being noisy in the corridor. Breakfast was alright but overpriced for pretty mediocre fare. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

The Bromley Court is now an independent hotel after being part of the Best Western chain. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area with a reasonable size car park which rare for hotels these days. Public transport links are not so good and taxis are a common sight around breakfast time. The hotel are happy to arrange a taxi for you. You need to be quick however as it's not uncommon for someone else to jump in the taxi you thought was yours.

Having stayed in the hotel many times over a period of about 15 years I can say that little had changed in that time until the recent renovation. However only some of the rooms have been renovated and little else.

The stairs, lifts and corridors all look tired and suffer from old looking carpets and creaky floors. Navigating you way around the hotel is always a fun experience with a maze of small flights of steps joining the various sections of the hotel together.

Although the renovated rooms are nicely decorated, feel modern and pleasant some of them are small and feel quite cramped.

My last stay was in an un-renovated room. The room was large, spacious and had a pleasant view of the garden. The room felt a little tired and the floor in the bathroom had a a bit of give in it.

The restraunt looks out into the garden at the back of the hotel. It's a pleasant area to sit in especially in the summer. Don't be surprised to see a couple of parakeets flying around your head.

Service and food in the hotel is typically good of not a little on the expensive side.

If you like you hotels quirky and don't enjoy the modern sanitised style of some chains then the a Bromley Court might suit.

Visited for a Rod Stewart tribute dinner/dance and had a really good evening. Food, service and the emntertainment was excellent. The singer got everyone involved and moved around the audience so every felt part of the show. Terrific evening.
