This hotel was such a great place! Location was perfect, room/bed was excellent, staff was extremely nice and breakfast was good. I will be back to The Palms again and again!! Isle of Palms is one of my favorite places to visit and this hotel just made it that much better!!

When we checked in there was no toilet paper and only 2 towels for 4 guests. The shower curtain had mold on it and the tub wasn't clean. Parking was difficult upon arrival to unload but otherwise parking was easy. Pool was nice and very easy walk to the beach. When contacted about missing items they were quick to bring them. Everyone was very friendly.

Solid basic accommodations with a hint of Low Country style. Our oceanfront room had a fantastic view and falling asleep to the sound of waves is hard to beat.

On the downside, our bed was definitely overdue for retirement being so sunken in the middle it was like trying to sleep in a salad bowl.

Spent my anniversary here. Seems newly renovated. Staff was unfamiliar with check in process, which took some time but after getting the keys all was great! Parking right across the street fora reasonable price nice restaurants close and a nice quiet section of beach -hard to find in Charleston these days... I'd highly recommend staying here.

It was nice. The only thing you need to know is nothing will dry in your room so be prepared to find a place to dry your swimsuits. Rooms always feel damp. But over all my family and I loved the place the staff was awesome the owner should be proud to have great employees watching over his place.

Great place , great staff, clean.Husband not into loud music
So little noisy for him. I didn't find it so. Front end staff , great! Very helpful.
There were bands playing both sides of hotel. Summer place , not unbearable for me. Stopped at 10 pm. Great access to Beach area! Great breakfast area offered.

We had an absolutely wonderful time and stay here (even though it was a bit rainy). The room was wonderfully done, with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean - and everything is just a quick walk away. Palms Oceanfront will definitely be our first choice the next time we come to the area for vacation!

I didn't stay there. I was next door. However, I know that they did a great deal of work before opening. It looks very well done and people were sitting on their balcony enjoying the evening and listening to the live music just below them. They definitely seemed to be happy about that.

This hotel was awesome. If you like simple and easy, this is the place for you. Best bang for your buck. The rooms are super nice on the inside. Josh was great. Friendly staff and great housekeepers. You are right on the beach. The only drawback is parking can be confusing and no exterior window. However, great place. I really liked it there. I will definitely come back next year.

The rooms were nice and new. The partial ocean view was a complete joke don't pay extra for it. What you get is a good view of a restaurant patio that has loud and bad singers. Yes , if you place your chairs the correct way you can see the ocean. You can't hear the sea and you get more tacky restaurant than ocean.

Nice, inexpensive accomidations. Initial entry to the property was a little intimidating. Maybe add some signage to direct arriving guests to the 1st floor office. Rooms were clean. Excellent beach access.

This hotel is incredible. We stayed right next to the restaurant and inside the room you cannot hear anything. The room was clean, beautiful and the staff were incredibly helpful. Called a few times for minor things and the response time was better than any other hotel we’ve visited. The staff
Is so friendly (even under stress). Hope to stay here again

The hotel just had their grand opening and make sure you look at the recent pictures to see what this place is like. It’s basically brand new. Literally everything seems and looks new.

The service was phenomenal, I dealt with 3 different guys at the front desk over the course of the week and they were all extremely helpful. The breakfast was actually great even though it was small. They have fresh avocados and they always keep ice cold fruit flavored water in the lobby.

The bed was comfortable but my only complaint was the top comforter wasn’t clean. It was white and had some stains that were pretty obvious. I didn’t want to downgrade the review though as everything else was great but they do need to check the linens better.

We expected more since it has been closed for a couple of years for renovations. The room decor was pretty and the room was clean. The bed was horrible and uncomfortable. The parking is horrible. No handicapped parking. We were on the third floor and the elevator was broken. When we wanted to go down, my husband would have to walk the stairs down to the ground floor and send the elevator back up to the 3rd floor for me to take down. I have difficulty with long flights of stairs with a knee and foot issue. We did tell a house keeper about the issue and she said she would let the front desk know and we tried to contact the front desk and could not get any one to answer the phone, we stopped off at the front desk and no one was there. For what we paid for the room expected more than what we got. We stayed here about 3 yrs ago and liked the old hotel stay better than this one. I think we will look else where for a place to stay next time we visit. I think we should have been given a partial refund for the inconvenience of having to run up and down the stairs but none was offered and I see in other posts, people were given refunds.

Our room was was next to a bar which played loud music until 10. Woke up to no hot water . I was told it was being worked on, waited another 30 minutes still nothing, kept being told it would be fixed shortly. Since I had plans I could not wait all day to shower. The lady in the room beside us recieved 50% off for her inconvenience although I was only offered 25% for mine seemed very unfair considering I had to go to a meeting without being able to shower. The walls are very thin I could hear people talking in the hallway and could hear their enitre conversations. However the room itself was clean and updated

The staff is awesome. Extremely friendly. The rooms need to be cleaned better and updated. Beach is nice but watch your things. During the summer months it's very busy and someone took money from my beach bag. Although there were lots of people around no one seemed to see anything.

Stayed here for vacation a while back. It was offseason, but it was like a paradise. The sunrises were beautiful. The staff was all very friendly and very accomodating. They did their job efficiently and effectively. Full continental breakfast, and cold breakfast bar continues after a certain time they close the hot bar. The room was perfect, just as it looks online. I wanna stay here again soon. Every year if I could afford it.

After a long overnight flight then a two hour drive to Isle of Palms, we had lost track of what time it was when we arrived. We walked into the lobby with our bags and Kyle kindly reminded me that that check in was still 4 hours away. (we had actually arrived right at Check OUT time!) but he immediately searched for any rooms that had been cleaned early and checked us in. As he was checking us in, he asked about our plans and engaged in what our interests were. When I told him that we were hoping to see some historical sites, he pulled Neil over to our conversation. Neil used to be a history teacher and gave me a 3 page print out on relative historical sites and specific notes of interest..along with several recommendations for restaurants. I was blown away by how sincerely interested these young men were in our vacation! Our room was wonderful...perfect ocean view from our sizable balcony. The location was perfect with its own personal boardwalk to the beach. When we checked out, Kyle marked up a special map for us with the local "secret" on how to avoid traffic! Honestly, just hours into our stay, we vowed to make this an annual trip...and we will never stay anywhere else in Isle of Palms. Totally exceeded expectations!
