All I can say about this place is Oh My Gosh! I booked this hotel for my dad as a Father's Day trip, and we got a King bed suite for $78 a night? That's a steal! We got a lovely view of the pool, and even saw the Orlando Eye peaking over the tree tops at us from our balcony. My dad absolutely enjoyed his stay there. Thank you so much for making it special for him. I will definitely say that this is the best hotel we've ever stayed at? And it's only 7 minutes away from CityWalk? How can anyone compete with that? My dad liked this place better than the Ritz Carlton, and it didn't even cost me that much for two nights. The only complaint I had is that we had to leave. We will definitely be back, hopefully before the end of the summer.

I loved my stay here! I stayed for 6 night. The staff were great and it was a good location. I loved that my room had a washer and dryer unit! That was super handy. The food was great too.

Nice hotel, it is a timeshare property but no one bothers you, you can schedule an appointment if you wanted a timeshare meeting, the rooms are nice the check in was fast and easy ,front desk people were really nice rooms are bit confusing to get to so make sure you ask check in when you get there what floor you are on because otherwise you will be wandering around, the only flaw was they had food delivery to the room you order from the Cabana Cafe down at the pool but my food never came after calling them after an hour and at that time I gave up because I had to get to bed to get a flight in the morning and they said they knocked on the door and called my room that I think they actually called the wrong room and didn't think they knew where the food went so I never ate, there isn't much dining options right around the hotel but it is a couple miles from Universal Boulevard where they have all the restaurants otherwise it was a good stay,
Also they have no soda machines or ice machines in the hallways for their rooms so make sure you bring your own drinks otherwise you have to go out to the Cabana Cafe at the pool

Very nice, classy hotel. It was clean, beds were comfortable, the hotel employees were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The bartenders at the cabana were fantastic! Drinks were great, the food was good. They also had Starbucks in the morning from 7:00am to 11:00am. You can get theme parks tickets right there at the concierge they have in the hotel. Shuttles at the hotel as well. We had a really enjoyable time there. Beautiful hotel, they know how to treat their guests!

We loved every aspect of our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a complimentary shuttle and they had a decently priced breakfast. Overall the room was nice and was exactly what we were hoping for.

This was a great hotel to stay at. The employees were very friendly and attentive. Nice modern decor. The rooms are not your typical hotel room but fully furnished apartments! That was a nice surprise! Amazing balcony views. Also very quiet, even late at night no loud guests. Super comfortable couch and bed. The kitchen even comes with cookware and utensils. Also, a great price. I think for the quality and amenities this hotel is very budget friendly. Only giving this 4 stars because the food quality in the restaurant could be improved. Other than that great hotel!

I usually stay at Westgate Resort. They didn’t have any rooms, so I booked here.
My room smelled like someone was smoking prior to my arrival. I notified the front desk and she had someone spray my room. It was a temporary fix though. The smell was back in the morning. The smell left my 3 year old son coughing heavily.
My tub was not fully clean. I didn’t notify staff although I’m sure they would of solved the problem.
I ate at the bar when I arrived. The female waitress was not customer friendly. She kept disappearing to the back whenever she thought someone was done ordering. Customers had to wait to wave at her to come out to serve. She had a smile on her face, but you can tell she didn’t want to be there.
The bartender in the evening was great. Great cocktails and great attitude.
They add a $12 fee to your total. Be aware.
The breakfast was not good. I would eat out next time.
Overall, the staff could use customer service training. I would stay at this hotel as my last option.

The hotel is nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. 4 stars were given because I had a bad experience with check-in; but the issue was resolved the next morning by the front desk manager. The way the actual manger handled the situation made the complete difference. Overall, I would come back. You can’t let one bad apple, ruin an entire review. I would recommend the point as a place to stay.

Great hotel, nice and clean. The employees are very pleasant. Didn’t really get to enjoy the room nor the parks due to an emergency the night we checked in. It was very nice of the front desk to call and see how we were doing at the hospital. Will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Orlando

This is a great place to stay for a reasonable price. The suites have full, furnished kitchens and a balcony. Very comfortable and roomy. Close to Universal studios and not far from Disney. The only inconvenience is having to go to the lobby or the cabana by the pool for ice, but next time we will bring a bag to put in the freezer. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

I stayed here for a week during a business conference. It was awesome! I have a lot of anxiety about staying in hotels normally, but I felt right at home as soon as I got to my room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The outside area with the pool and bar looked great, but I didn’t have time to check it out. The breakfast area was kind of like a little restaurant. Next time I’m in Orlando, I would absolutely stay here again!

PS - it has an in-room washer and dryer which was amazing.

Loved staying here! Stayed from 6/2/18--6/9/18. Got to the hotel at 10:30am and they already had a room ready for us, didn't even have to wait. The double king room was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. Staff was always amazing, even checked up on me after I wasn't feeling well from our flight. Super close to everything, food, activities, theme parks, stores. Never waited more than 5 mins for chairs by the pool (for all 4 of us) loved that the parents could play pool and have some drinks/food while the kids were swimming. We will definitely stay here again!

The Point: My girlfriend and I took a little weekend trip to Orlando and decided we'd try out The Point. It was such a pleasure staying here. The staff were very kind and within an hour of checking in, they called our room to make sure everything was okay. We asked for more towels and they brought them to us within 5 minutes. Everything was tidy, clean, and cozy. We'll definitely be staying here again!

Perfect is the only way to describe this hotel suite! It has everything you need, including a washer and dryer. We only stayed here for one night but I wish we stayed longer. It definitely doesn't feel like a hotel, more like a homey apartment. Definitely recommended.

Very clean and extremely polite staff. Great location on Universal Blvd. Close to everything but far enough not to be in the middle of the traffic. Tons of dining options close by and if you're up for it, you can walk to Universal Studios from the hotel. Relaxing pool area with decent food at the grill.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very pleasant. The rooms were very spacious and clean. A special thanks to one of the staff/managers for the fruit tray she had waiting in our room when we returned from a day at the park. It was a great and thoughtful surprise. Very close to universal studios and other parks.

I would stay here again. Rooms are nice with a full kitchen. Pool, hot tub, exercise room are all nice. Breakfast is available, but costs extra ($12/person). Food is the same every morning. Location is convenient, about 1.5 mi from Universal, so walking to the park only takes about 30 min. A shuttle is available if you ask for it. Lots of Uber around if you want to use it.

Very clean, spacious and centrally located. The room I stayed in was a one bedroom suite. It was very clean and spacious. It had a separate bedroom and large bathroom with a full kitchen. There is a large pool with a bar. There is also a restaurant that serves a buffet breakfast for an extra charge. We did not eat at the hotel so I do not have a review of the food. It is centrally located in Orlando near I-drive and Universal Studios. Two drawbacks were the housekeeping cart was in the hall for two days and hard to find a parking space Saturday night late. Very minor issues. This is a much nicer hotel then I normally stay in. Very nice accomodations if you are staying in Orlando. Great views from upper floors. I highly recommend this hotel!

Lovely hotel. Suites are large with great facilities - ideal if you have kids who are happy to take the sofa bed. Pool is basic but clean and safe, with plenty of beds and fresh towels available. Location is great for Universal and International Drive.

I'm only giving 4 stars BC the TVs are outdated and I prefer a liquid soap over bar soap. We didn't get to enjoy the pool but it was clean and neat. Bartender was a little rough around edges..
The suite was super clean! Very very nice.. everything was neatly placed and easy to find . The jetted tub was amazing .. the carpets could be cleaned bc there are stains but it wasn't dirty . It smelled very fresh not moldy or mildew like past resorts. Chicken wings we ordered weren't very good but it was late. The parking isn't that great. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. The hotel was close to everything. Very pleased overall.

Nice place to stay. Our room was well equipped and comfortable. There were some negative points like the fact that you have to reserve seats in the busses to the parks 24h in advance and that the breakfast area is quite loud.
But I can recommend it all in all.

Service is great from hotel staff. The shuttle service is not as good, and left me and a few others stranded. The food for breakfast is good but the price is a little steep. The rooms are very nice, the pool looks nice, but the gym is lacking in free weights (the site says there are free weights). Good staff though.

That was surely the best vacation ive ever had. That place is amazing. We were supposed to stay here for 3 nights and then go to Miami for 2 more, but we like the resort so much that instead we canceled our trip to Miami and stayed for 2 more days in the Point.

Já informamos na recepção diversas vezes e em todas elas nos pediram desculpas e trocaram/recodificaram os cartões porém o problema persiste e eu já desisti de reclamar. Agora é torcer para que nada desapareça do nosso quarto até o final da viagem já que estamos completamente expostos. Para mim essa falha é grave e, se não fosse as demais qualidades do hotel, não recomendaria a hospedagem de jeito nenhum.

Excellent hotel. The pictures of the rooms don't do it justice and I was pleasantly surprised when we got here. Very clean. The kids loved it! We were only suppose to stay for 4 days and we stayed for 6 and a big part of our decision to stay longer was how comfortable we were in the hotel. Shuttle to the parks was great but we took Uber to Universal in just 10 minutes. Eddie the bellman is awesome! We had a small issue and he went above and beyond for our family to fix the situation. Only thing that would have been nice is vending machines. Will definitely stay again.

First they gave us a room despite not having any available and accepted our dogs when they don't allow them. (We were returning from evacuation and had two horrible days of driving and they could see we were headed for a nervous breakdown).

Even after they had bent over backwards, they doubled up by trying to accommodate our every need, so much so that we had to ask them to stop. :-)

Clean rooms. Very comfortable beds and a very nice pool. We ended up taking advantage of their generosity and stayed and extra night. Thanks and when we ever start going to Universal, this will be the first place we book.

Just stayed here this past weekend and would definitely come back! We spent days at Universal and took the shuttle provided. Room was clean with a Jacuzzi tub, which was appreciated after days of walking in the park. Employees were very friendly and helpful.

Went here on a business trip. The amenities like the jacuzzi and the full kitchen were great however some of the appliances and jets of the jacuzzi didn't work. Needs to do some upgrades. Plus the power went out on one of the three nights I stayed there. Otherwise they had great staff and the amenities were worth the price. I'd stay here again.

My friends and have had a pleasant experience at The Point. The rooms are comfortable and staff are very friendly. Would definitely recommend but the only downside is that they charge for continental breakfast.

The room we stayed in was super nice and well decorated. Our view was awesome too. They have a breakfast plan where you can pay for breakfast for the days your staying there. Its worth it in my opinion. It was nice to get up, have a good breakfast and then go out. The staff was friendly and helpful and I find myself missing it often.

I stayed at this hotel June of 2017, and truly enjoyed my stay. The staff was more than courteous, and the rooms were spacious. The living room, kitchen, and amazing bathroom made the trip even more enjoyable, after long days at Disney World. I will be booking again for 2018.

Nice place. The front desk staff very helpful. Rooms are clean ,pool is open late,so once you come back from park you can enjoy a quick dip. Shuttle service is a plus, breakfast you gotta pay for. 11.99,but it's good. Universal is close enough to walk to, mile and half. Walgreens about 1/4 mile. They have sandwiches snacks and wine. So all in all its good,reasonable.

Good trip so far! The room is spacious and clean and everything appears to be in good working order. My only complaint is that the theme park shuttles are not often enough - only 3 drop off times each day.

We left another hotel due to many issues that we had and stayed at the Point Orlando Resort for the latter part of our vacation. We were extremely happy with our stay there from beginning to end. We were greeted promptly by the receptionist and in our room within 5 minutes. Shortly after the phone rang and it was the receptionist checking to see if the room was satisfactory, which it was. From the cleanliness to the comfort of the bed, the wet bar equipped with refrigerator, microwave and dishes, we were very satisfied. One of the days we took advantage of the pool and jacuzzi stopping by the tiki bar for drinks. The bartender was very personable making my wife a "birthday drink" which she loved (a little too much:). Towels were available and there were more than enough lounges and chairs for all of the guests. Breakfast service was great as well as we were again made welcome with warm smiles and prompt attention. I would like to thank everyone at The Point Orlando for making our stay so wonderful especially since the beginning of our vacation had started so poorly at another (unnamed) property. We will definitely stay there next time we visit Orlando.
Oh... and it's a minute to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay and Citywalk (for all you party people.... walking distance).

The rooms are very well equipped, we had 8 family members in our party and we had more than enough room, it was also great to go between rooms without having to go by the hallway. Great customer service. I highly recommend

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The lobby is very comfortable and newly remodeled. Great pool with plenty of seating. The rooms, and everything else, was very clean. The only reason I'm leaving a four star review is the lack of attention to detail on the rooms. The general contractor that remodeled the rooms should have spent a little more time prepping before painting. Also, the shower heads are made for people less than six feet tall.

I would stay here again, actually I plan to, and I would recommend this to friends and family.

Very nice rooms, pool and overall impression. But what will make us stay there again was the incredible service from a lovely young lady at the reception desk. She helped us rebook our rental car from Kissimmee to Orlando which enabled us to get a bigger car. It really saved the rest of our trip. Don't remember her name but if you read this, thank you!

Clean and neat. Stayed in a suite. Breakfast buffet was average, typical (scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, etc). Staff was courteous but then again. I only ran into one person at check-in.

Me and my boyfriend just stood here for 4 nights. The staff is AMAZING. Bianca, Lisa and Sara the bartender were so nice and helpful, made us feel at home. The beds were so comfortable and we had gotten a pool side view thanks to Bianca. Food was very good as well. 5 mins from universal parks, and this hotel provides transportation at certain times if needed to get to parks or shopping outlets. Good for couples and families, everyone in fact! I would stay here again, we were so sad to leave. The staff really makes you feel like you've known them for a lifetime.

Very clean, airy and affordable upper scale resort hotel. The only thing I gave pause to was the bathroom sink drained slowly. Everything else was great.

Our first stay at The Point and I would certainly stay again! Upon entry to the lobby, you're embraced with fresh clean air conditioning. All through the facility was fresh clean air. No staleness anywhere. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was exceptionally clean and fresh. Full kitchen stocked with untensils-- thumbs up!! The bathroom was really nice with really hot water!! We had the one bedroom suite which was spacious enough for two. One bathroom would make it a little challenging for more than two people but doable. (The sofa folds out into a bed) This location is a keeper on my list!

Here for Star Wars Celebration. Nice room. Comfy bed. Pool (and more importantly) the hot tub is open until 11pm. That said, when they want people to be done poolside, the ones who do it are rude. I get it, but there's more than one way to approach a situation. I should subtract a star for it, but too late. The rest of the staff seems pretty great though.

The rooms were great. This was complete with a FULL kitchen, laundry, living room and jet tub in bathroom. Staff was extremely friendly and everything was clean and looked appealing. Would recommend to anyone needin a place to stay in Orlando.

I attended a convention. It's the 4th convention I've attended at this location. I love this convention center.

Our stay has been pretty good so far. The room is pretty nice, we did have issues with our door not locking but they fixed it right away. The breakfast is okay, nothing special but convenient.

The rooms were very nice and clean. The service was excellent. The location is very much in the heart of where you want to be. (Everything written in all caps to express my joy)

The hotel and it's staff are great. Everyone is exceptionally friendly, it's very modern and clean. The pool is great and the outdoor bar and grille has good food and drinks. The only complaint is that the breakfast buffet, which is no different than any hit breakfast most hotels provide for free, is $13 per person. It's a bit overpriced. But when that's the only complaint, you know it's a great hotel.

First and foremost: this hotel is beautiful. Very clean and surprisingly quiet. The room we got was spacious (more so than we originally thought, at least) and offered way more amenities than we would've expected. And the staff are extremely friendly! They really went out of their way to make our stay great without us asking for anything. Lastly, the hotel is very conveniently located to just about everything you might want to get to. We never had to drive more than 20 mins to get anywhere we wanted, and could walk to places for most of our small needs. Would definitely recommend!

The room was very spacious. It had a full kitchen and laundry. You could purchase them as a condo. Everything was clean and fairly well attended. There were some small ants here and there in the room, not like an infestation, but we noticed five or so. I attested it to the Florida climate. The mattress cover on the pull out bed needed to be replaced. We did have trouble getting that taken care of with the hotel though. For some reason both our key cards took several tries to work the second night we were here. The pool deck, hot tub and bars are really nice. The buffet breakfast is reasonably priced. Decent for the piece, but I would have hoped for a bit nicer for the price. Probably could get an economy hotel for less with similar service quality but not as fancy.

Overall, this is a very good hotel for the price. They upgraded us to a nicer room when we arrived, and we liked the complimentary shuttle to the theme parks. The room was nice and spacious, nothing to complain about. The shuttle arrived fairly late one night when we were leaving Universal, and I wish the breakfast had been complimentary, but overall this is a great hotel.

This is an absolutely amazing hotel! It's beautiful and modern..it has everything you could ask for in a hotel. The rooms are spacious with a full kitchen and huge bathroom with a jacuzzi tub that my kids love! There is a nice balcony with a beautiful view..we search for different hotels and always end up coming here! We did have one issue when checking in they charged us again when we had paid in advance but they refunded us with no problem and we weren't suprosed to be charged a resort fee but we were. My 5 year old daughter asked to stay in this hotel for her birthday so before arriving I let them know and we were giving a very beautiful cake and balloon arrangements as well as a beautiful view!! My other daughter is now about to be 3 and is asking to "stay in hotel like sissy" :) so we look forward to coming back very soon!!

I truly wish they lift their cleaning policy of every seventh day stay. It hurts their image and longevity of their rooms. I'm not even sure they own a vacuum. I vacuum my house at least once a day. I expect a hotel would supersede that. Even the hallway are dusty and filthy. We come back to room 5-6pm and our room isn't even cleaned, such an inconvenience.

Great hotel. Wonderful welcome from bellman Josh. Lobby was just renovated. Its not to my taste as it's very cold but I like the charging stations. Rooms are spacious and also renovated. I like the large bathroom but the color scheme is blah. Good service at the pool bar. Good breakfast for a fee.

Over all I really liked The Point. Only think I didn't like was there are no restaurants within close walking distance. Takes 15 min or more to walk to a restaurant. Other than that it was a great place. They did have a breakfast buffet every kittening but it was a little pricey @ 11.99 per person but was decent food. over all The Point was VERY clean and the staff are WONDERFUL. Free shuttles to and from Universal, Disney and Sea World daily. Wish the hotel had a few benches out front to wait for the shuttle but that's a minor detail. There are no shuttles to the airport, however, they did share with us that they are contracted with a third party vendor that provides transportation to the airport for a fixed fee of 42$. That was less than the cab ride to the hotel. (50$... And we were in light traffic) Overall I really liked the hotel...Nice room with great amenities and wonderful staff. Would Definitely stay here again.

Free Breakfest was good. The parking was free and safe. I would return. The poolside bar is a little pricey, but it is a resort. This place is very close to Universal Studios. I will stay here in the future.

We stayed in a grand one bedroom suite. Its was a beautiful room, the bathroom was huge! The bathroom also had a jetted tub, which barely fit two smaller adults, and a stand up shower, which could have used a nicer shower head. It had a fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, muffine tin, plates, glasses, and utensils (no non-stick pan) with an oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, full fridge with ice maker, blender, and washer and dryer. The coffemaker is a Keurig, and they provide two k cups but additional ones are a dollar at the front desk. They also dont provide any spices, cooking spray, or anything like that so make sure u bring those, or theres a walgreens or whole foods down the road. The pool area is really nice. The pool and hot tub are saltwater, theres a billards table, and tiki bar with small plates. Theres a fitness center by the pool, but didnt use it. We also didnt have the breakfast, as we just made it in our room. I was really happy with our stay overall and would definitally consider staying again.

The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in was great with all the amenities on hand. Definitely will be staying here again. They definitely make it a home away from home.

Prefect distance from everything, close enough for an easy drive but far enough you're no paying ridiculous rates. The rooms are great for family's or those on a budget because of the kitchen you can stop at a local store for food rather than going out. Washer and dryer are a huge convenience so you don't need to pack a lot of clothes. The pools is great for kids and adults alike. Hot tube great for relaxing after a long day at the parks. The bar and grill is reasonably priced for good food.

The service is very good. They make sure you are completely taken care of. And they changed the interior design of the hotel to a modern look that isn't bad at all but I prefer the way it looked before.

The room was clean, we had every amenity available in the grand suite. Washer, dryer,walkin shower, bathtub with massage jets,microwave ,dishwasher,stove.Every utensil you can think of from silverware to measuring cups to mixing bowls. There was a little confusion on our reservation. But the front desk got it rite in no time (2 thumbs up ). Tiki bar and Jacuzzi out by the pool. The bellhop was the best, he handle all of our luggage (my wife didnt have to lift a finger).p.s book the grand suite,its the best. We will be back in the future.

We come here at least twice a year when visiting from Michigan. Sergio is the best. This hotel is amazing and whenever I stay somewhere else I am disappointed. They set the bar high. Will continue to stay here always. Thanks for all the great experiences and always exceeding our expectations.

Great hotel with phenomenal service. Parking is a little cramped. I stayed in a grand suite that had lots of room. The food at the restaurant could be improved and there was some wear in our hotel room with stains and burns on the carpet. I would definitely stay again.

The staff is all extremely nice and very helpful. The paid breakfast seems to look like what a free continental breakfast normally looks like so we didn't pay for it. The prices were low and it is close to anything you could want, only two miles from Universal. The room had two king size beds and aa kitchenette, which we used for breakfast since we didn't want to pay. A could of things seemed a littlebroken, like the toilet handle and one of the lamps, but nothing was gross and it was a pleasant stay overall.
