Great place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Has a outdoor pool and hot tub, very well maintained. Playground for the kids. Small put put area. Bago boards as well. Small restaurant located by the main office. Friendly staff to top it all off.

We had a wonderful overnight stay. Everyone was very friendly and professional. This is a pet friendly hotel and we had our 3 cats traveling with us with no trouble at all here. Restaurant had good food at reasonable prices.

The staff is friendly, food is delicious and the location is very clean. With them the food is more quality over quanity. They have a few things to pick from with a menu you can also order off of.

A truly terrific place for travelers. Simple, clean, and comfortable rooms. Breakfast in the morning is delicious. People who run it are super friendly. Motorcyclists in particular will like this place for its ease of access to their bikes from the rooms, and that there's a motorcycle dealer just down the road for any necessary items.

The Village Inn is such a wonderful place to go. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the price isn't that bad, and there are a lot of things to do there. There's a free pool, not one, but two playgrounds, a tiny two-hole golf course, whirlpool baths, balconies and trails to walk your dog on. There's also a free mini-breakfast on weekends and a full one, menu and everything, that you pay for on weekdays. There are suites with pull-out couches, and every room comes with a minifridge and TV. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing by this area.

Staff was welcoming. They ended up booking my friend in another woman's room and ended up having to move her to his technical room. No issue on our end with that. Very helpful

I wish we could have stayed longer. What a gem.
They allowed us to have our jack Russell dog. We walked out door to a beautiful green area to walk him. A lovely deck looking out back into a lovely green area.
We ate at their restaurant that also was good.
The room was clean. BYOB

What a gem. Skip the national chains and stay in this lovely little family owned diamond in the rough.
Squeaky clean, comfortable, friendly staff, great food, and attention to detail in this pet-friendly inn with a bucolic setting and convenient location.
Can't recommend enough!

Everything about this place is top notch. They have clean rooms, friendly staff, and a great breakfast. We arrived too late to have their dinner but my guess would be that it too is well worth it. 10/10 would stay here again.

I stayed in this motel for a couple days, and it was quite nice. I had pre-paid online for the room, and check in was very fast and easy - they had correctly received my payment and information. The room was clean, comfortable, and TV was good. Only bad thing was the table lamp's built in outlet arced loudly when used (I quickly pulled the plug). Overall, very nice, and I would definitely stay here again!!

This was a great stop for us on a trip with our one year old and two dogs. They have a nice playground and a large open space in back for walking the dogs. The room was clean and the breakfast buffet at the restaurant was great!

Stopped here on the long journey home from Florida and was very glad I did. Very clean room with a wonderfully comfortable bed with great sheets n pillows. I recommend it highly over the chain motels. Competitively and reasonably priced.

My husband and I visited the Village Inn restaurant for the annual local DAV Sweetheart dinner. Everyone enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service. They served us a family style meal, where they brought dishes of food out to our tables, and we passed the food around to dish our own plates. They served fried oysters, orange glazed pork tenderloin, green beans, mashed potates, and gravy. All of the food was perfectly seasoned, and tasted wonderful! I do foresee the DAV continuing to use this location for this particular event in the future.

Disclaimer: This event was a "catered" event, and is not the typical way Village Inn serves its customers.

Superb hotel. We booked for $60 with an online discount. The rooms are spotless and generously sized. The restaurant is wonderful and the staff are friendly. The layout is ‘village’ style and is great for pets with a lot of outdoor lawn areas. You can park right out front of your door if the lot isn’t crowded which is a huge bonus during cold weather. This hotel cannot be beat for the price.

Comfortable rooms with everything we needed, plus a nice patio. Grassy area in the back so we could walk our dog. The room was quiet and felt private. We only stayed one night- got there late after a full day of driving and left the next morning, so I can't speak to the daytime service or restaurant. Was better than staying at one of the chain hotels.

Absolutely amazing! Quaint and very clean. All the staff including the servers are so very polite. I loved my stay here. Wall controlled a/c and heating units, jet bath tubs, breakfast and dinner buffets (only about $7-10 per person and amazing food and large selection). You can also order from a menu if you don't want the buffet. Over 300 channels of tv. Rooms are well lit and kept in great condition. Area is lit well at night. Located far enough from the town so that you don't get disturbed. Beautiful country like location. The value of their rates is the best in all of Harrisonburg. I will be coming here from now on every single time. You won't get a better hotel without paying over $125 a night in this area. I have stayed at all of them because I travel here every month. Thank you all for an amazing and peaceful time at my stay. Recommend this to anyone traveling who wants to feel at home!

Stayed here on our way to Charlotte. It was excellent. The kids loved the pool and the playground. Large room, nice deck off the back (bugs were really loud at night. Made it slightly tough to sit outside after the sun went down).

We were a little disappointed in the breakfast options, but they don't do the breakfast buffet on Sunday so we had to take what we could get.

Just got back from the dinner buffet,...wow, simplicity at its finest, as is the entire Village Inn. The menu changes I believe through the week but tonight was fried chicken and meatloaf. It's not gourmet but good food that delivers a great meal, especially for the price.
The inn is a throw back to the late 60's to the 70's.....which is a great and wonderful thing. This is what travel is supposed to be like. Drive through the day and stay at a comfortable and CLEAN lodging. I love this place with its wallpaper and spindle chairs. The rooms are large with great amenities like fridge and microwave and as a bonus my room has a jacuzzi tub, perfect for sore muscles after driving.
You can keep all the chain and franchised places, I was thinking of sleeping in my car instead. I've stayed in a few, noisy, flimsy furniture and a noisy A/C unit that you can't control.
From when I called for a reservation, to my check in, to Melody filling my water glass without me asking The Village Inn has added value to my road trip. Thank you for all you do to keep the place as nice as it Is! I will make this stop every time I travel north to south and recommend it to my friends without hesitation. Hi Arn!

Used Expedia to find a reasonably priced hotel in Harrisonburg, VA. Village Inn came up as the answer. It was just outside of the downtown area and near the highway, very convenient. Room was larger than a chain hotel and perfect for our needs. Staff was pleasant and attentive when needed. I was disappointed to learn I had to pay an extra $15 for an additional guest. This was not mentioned by Expedia but was the standard hotel policy. Had I known about this extra charge, my choice for a nights stay would have been different. This is not a negative reflection at all on the Village Inn, they were fine.

Please follow SNDTravels on Facebook. So I ended up stuck here with a vehicle in the shop but the good thing was finding this motel. We ended up with a handicap room because it was the last room available and it was large clean and comfortable. The shower had fixed and handheld attachments along with 2 body sprays. Flat screen TV, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, couch and tables. I don't know if all the amenities are in the other rooms but this was nice. The pool and hot tub are outside in a very nice area. They have a good gathering area next to the pool with kids play ground, bean bag toss and more. At $95 with tax, it is a moderate price for the area and as it's hard to find hotels in the vicinity with decent reviews. This is one it seems you won't have to worry about. Downside is the breakfast is not free. They have a restaurant on site and it's $7.50 for a pretty good buffet and it was definitely worth the price. To see a good picture of the property you need to check out their site as it's very spread out and there was no way to get a complete view. We had already messed up the room but there are some pics. As we travel this area alot we will be looking here first from now on. Recommended thumbs up! 👍

Food is good, for a small eating establishment. Atmosphere is good and friendly. Eat there frequently , especially for breakfast. Prices are reasonable for there buffet style meal. Will continue to go there. If you're traveling, they have motel rooms and a dining hall to eat at. What else could you ask for.

This place is a 4.5. Room was clean, large, and had a jacuzzi tub. Stop over on the way to Fort Myers Beach with my Golden Retriever. They love dogs! The buffet dinner of meat loaf, fried chicken and all the fixings, exceeded my expectations. Delicious and very reasonable. Ben at the front desk and Melody in the dining room were not only super efficient, but friendly to the point that I had great conversations and felt like I made new friends. I will definitely be back again. Good feeling at this little gem.

I had a decent time at the Village Inn. Overall, the accommodations were comfortable and not too pricey. The room was clean, and the staff was nice. Parking is great. Unfortunately, I was not able to explore the different amenities due to the cold and snowy weather that came through the weekend we were in town. I would not say no to staying here again.

My wife and I brought our toddler son with us. We knew we would all be in the same room, which worried us a bit because we were not sure how our son would sleep. However, we were able to put his pack and play behind the sofa, which gave him and us some privacy. This allowed him to sleep really well, and prevented him from being distracted. We were very happy with the room because we were able to do that.

There were a few things that I wish were a little different. The shower/bath was a bit difficult to operate and switch between the two. The toilet was not good at flushing everything down. It would always have some toilet paper remaining. It would take 1 or 2 more flushes to get it all down. For some reason, my wife and I both had difficulty sleeping. The bed was fairly comfortable, but we just did not sleep well. We were in a queen room and it did not have a closet, but a rack to hang clothes in the sink area.

Overall, I think this is a good establishment.

The first room we were put into had crumbs on one of the beds, the second had hair on the sheets. When we checked out in the morning the day staff didn't believe us about the crumbs saying the night guy checked and didn't find any. I should have walked out with him to show him. The rest of the room was clean and if not for the staff in the morning basically saying I was lying (because everryyoonneeee who has two small kids wants to walk them into the office after a long drive to change rooms....yeah) I may have tried here again. The rest of the room was clean, just beware the sheets before you lay down.

We often eat at the Village Inn for their Friday night buffet - well, really, for the oysters! The only reason they ever run out is because they're sooo good, everybody eats way more than their share! The other foods on the buffet are good, too, but we go for the oysters. We also enjoy their weekend breakfast buffets. We've been going there - often - for the three years we've been married, and before then I was eating there since 2005. The food is always good, the oysters are excellent, the pies are wonderful, and it's always a warm, welcoming place.

Very friendly and helpful staff - accommodating, welcoming. We had auto issues when we landed here and the staff did everything they could to help - including offering rides and a late check-out, as well as advice on food delivery. Room was great (if a little out-dated), just as described - unfortunately it snowed and we couldn't enjoy our balcony. Very reasonable rates and pet-friendly!
