Loved this hotel! Was very nice room was big and comfortable. DJ at the front desk was one of the most helpful people we have ever met and we stay at allot of hotels all over. She helped upgrade our room and she even took care of our clothes for us she was a all around awesome person. The breakfast was good and kids enjoyed the pool. Will definitely be back again when we go visit my niece in college.

I stayed here on a weekend in July and staff was hospitable. Room was clean and breakfast was perfect for my husband and I. Location is nearby shops and restaurants. I felt safe with the indoor corridors. Check in process was fast and goes above and beyond. I will definitely stay here again.

I don’t usually post reviews but the level of service my family and I received during our stay was excellent. The breakfast and the staff made sure my kids had a good breakfast and were super friendly. The front desk staff was busy at times but always made sure to smile and help us with directions and suggestions of places to go in Dallas. The level of customer service we received was what you would expect at a 5 star resort and to receive it at Townplace suites made us feel right at home. If you are passing through Dallas or visiting family I highly recommend staying here.

This hotel has been absolutely amazing the staff has been wonderful and very accommodating, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Even the basic rooms have a kitchenette with a large refrigerator microwave coffee pot and several other appliances. The indoor pool is very enjoyable the only thing I wish it had was a Jacuzzi.

Rooms are nice. Full size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, cooktop. Room cleaning seems to happen very late in the day.

The location is very easy to find. Close to many restaurants and the hospital. Customer service was great. They were having problems with air conditioning and had to move rooms 4 times for the 5 nights we stayed. Other than that would recommend to others.

Everything about the hotel itself was outstanding. Everything about the location was challenging. The Travis street address took me to a place in downtown desoto and I drove an extra hour in bumper to bumper traffic to get here. Once I got here and needed to go back out, I was faced with one way streets that make it very hard for me to get back to the hotel. Overall hotel was very clean, very friendly staff, and excellent breakfast. Someone really needs to help people understand that the address mix up is a HUGE issue. The blue dot on this map is the actual hotel location, and the pinned hotel address is where google maps will take you. BEWARE!!!

Not a fan of the bathroom right next to the bed. I did have a efficiency apt there sorry no pics

Clean and meets the need for sleeping. Otherwise,not convenient to restaurants and other city perks. Service is nice and prices are good. The rooms have a fridge, coffee machine, and microwave. Small gym and swimming pool. A little more noisy than ideal.

The staff is great at this location. When you stay here it feels like home. One of my favorite things is their Texas size and Texas shape waffles. Great staff great service and a great place to stay....

Our Insurance Co. put us in here for a few days. The staff and this facility has been amazing. Great breakfast daily and kitchens in every room makes it more like home.

BIG room with kitchen... kitchen well supplied with cookware and dishes... staff very friendly and helpful. Service animals welcome. Highly recommend

Pleasantly Perfect! This is where we landed my first time to Texas! We were here 10 days...a couple times I had a request I was dealt with immediately! All staff is cheerful and helpful its obvious they enjoy their jobs! That makes me want to come back!! I will recommend to family and friends!

We had above and beyond wonderful service from Rolando at the front desk. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well appointed. Great value. Our entire wedding party stayed here and none of us had a complaint.

Lobby well kept clean Very nice staff and room service rooms are very nice every facility fitness room...pool...laundry room were all kept up the property is very well clean you will enjoy the stay there's a small church as well to worship.. And breakfast every morning is served

My apartment was being remodeled and stayed here for a month. It was an amazing stay! Everyone was friendly. And the housekeeping was always on time. I loved staying here. It was more than what i expected!

Nice place for vacationers. If you're staying for a long period of time the noise at times is too much with the kids coming through. Accommodations are nice, close enough to downtown and all the local attractions.

Friendly, clean, great quality! Fellow travelers loud and unruly. Very comfortable and relaxing if not for others staying at hotel. Seemed to be LONG TERM living situation for a majority of customers.

We won't stay anywhere else when visiting our kids in San Francisco! The hotel is situated in the prettiest neighborhood with lots of sights you can walk to. However, be prepared to walk up and down hills. We can't wait to get back there!

Room was nice but temperature in room was too warm for comfortable sleeping. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was decent. Muffins where very good.

We were in Dallas for a funeral they immediately gave us a barieve price. The room was very comfortable, free breakfast, coffee all day long. Service was very good. I will definitely come back.

Best Stay! The ladies at check in are very friendly and always willing to help. Loved the new update they have done, the patio with a Grill is a big plus! Room was cleaned and housekeeping is outstanding, Breakfast was more than what we expected, and the options are nice, they had waffles, or french toast; eggs, and 2 sausage types pork or turkey that is nice. Hats off to the staff for making our stay so Pleasant. We totally loved our Marriott experience at the TownePlace Suites in DeSoto TX

I am a repeat guest. I prefer this property for several reasons. It is located near all of the major freeways, Interestates etc. It is not located in the Dallas, however it is easily accessible to Dallas and the surrounding cities (North, South East or West).
The staff is exceptional. I had issues with the heating ( not sure if it was the heating unit or me because I tend have an aversion to "nippy" weather. I am so comfortable here until this is my choice not

The staff is excellent. Everyone is very courteous and caring.

Breakfast closes early. Room had strange heat patterns, where at 72 degrees it would be boiling with the heat blasting, and at 71 frigid with the air pumping. They locked the thermostat so I couldn't manually change the mode. Frustrating. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

No free wifi. They say it's free high speed Internet but if there is more than 2 people in the hotel it crashes and they have no clue what to do about it. Literally the worst Internet of any hotel I have ever stayed at. They should remove this perk as it is always broken. Staying for 4 weeks for work and this is brutal to deal with.

Great staff, nice rooms, well maintained. Difficult to navigate to. Could really use an on site restaurant. No shops or eateries near by.

On arrival, their Internet went down so we were unable to check in without having them be able to take our credit card and drivers license. They wanted to make a photocopy of them, which to even ask is unacceptable and a huge security risk. We ended up waiting for a good while as they had people come in and try and fix their systems, making calls, etc. Otherwise, the room was very nice, clean, cool, and had a very nice kitchenette.

Been here one night. So far the hotel has been nice. The only complaint is that there is no DVD player in the rooms.

I stayed there 5 weeks for work and it was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! The staff was GREAT! and Miss Adriean, at the front desk, was absolutely awesome! The rooms were the perfect size and the whole place was very clean and well kept. If you are staying anywhere near Desoto Tx. I recommend checking in here! I didn't want to leave and hope I can go back very soon!!

The pros: kitchenette, pretty clean, nice staff.
The cons: my room wouldn't get cold, the shower wouldn't get warm, the carpet smells and stayed damp, the sheets felt like cardboard, uncomfortable bed, horrible breakfast, the smell of people cooking at midnight is disgusting.
I wouldn't recommend.

I stayed @ this hotel for 10 days 1 month ago. I agree with others on the good breakfast & housekeeping services. Staff was professional also. I ONLY have 1-COMPLAINT! Didn't realize that leaving my 'partial mouth piece with small gold tooth' would be STOLEN while out of my room f'or a short period of time. Yes I read their hotel rules about protecting your valuables. But I did as usual taking my mouth piece out to Soak in a cup of water in the bathroom. Brought this matter to the General Manager's attention & showed her the damage of where someone had 'pinched' off the 'gold' from the mouth piece. No compensation has been offered to repair & replace the missing gold! NOW I'LL BE OUT OF AN UNEXPECTED EXPENSE FOR THIS DENTAL REPAIR! I was & yet am very disappointed and frustrated about that incident!
Mind you now, that their hotel rooms can only be entered with a Key Card; which any Staff Employee can enter with a Master Key Card while you're gone from your room!

SO BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU LEAVE IN YOUR ROOMS WHILE GONE - whether it's minutes or hours!

Great place to stay while visiting family for Christmas. Kid friendly, hot breakfast each morning, and indoor pool. Pet friendly was important, since we are traveling with our cat. Only drawback was the "eco-friendly" heat & air... Only either heat OR air works, so in the winter, our room was roasting hot, and the windows only open a crack to let in cool outside air. Otherwise, great service & hotel property.
