When I read the reviews I was expecting the worst but we were given an amazing up to date room with all appliances working. Coffee and tea in the room was okay but the cups are tiny. Like *really* tiny. However the fridge was bigger than normal with a fair selection in the mini bar. Comfortable beds. View of the city but not as clean as it could have been. We stayed a week for shopping in the outside pratunum area and would stay here again . 7-11 is across the street. And there are two restaurants in the hotel and Starbucks and Mac d and KFC

Good hotel with big rooms and smart electronic system for power. I was in room number 607, The only thing that is not fit in that room is the television. The television is very old one. Try to change them. Otherwise its a very good hotel. 👌✌

Good hotel. In the middle of the city's shopping district - don't just stick to Indra Square, there are a lot of shops on the road as well. You'll find everything.

By the way, note that laptops and some other gadgets are a lot cheaper in Thailand than in the UK, so you might want to consider getting whatever you need from here (at Pantip plaza), just note that you'll get a US(?) keyboard layout with Thai characters as well.

I have always stayed at the Indra Regent when in Bangkok. My first experience was in 1986. At that time I found it to be full of authentic Thai charm. Sadly, some of those fond memories were not relived this time around. The grand check-in counter has been replaced with a Starbucks and the guest waiting area has become a McDonald's location. The hotel lobby has now been relocated to the 4th floor, so it confusion sets in when you come in, head to the elevator. Pratunam has become much more westernized, which to some will be a draw card. The shopping experience in the area is not as good as it used to be, but the hotel is about 200m from the airport rail link, and it is fairly central to most attractions. Just those 2 things alone will probably bring me back. I was a little sad about the changes, however in an aging hotel in a competitive industry, I get it.

Great wedding venue. We enjoyed the wedding package. The wedding coordinator is very friendly and is fluent in English. The wedding suite is beautiful, clean and well designed. The restaurant offers delicious international food. Amazing.

A land mark hotel...very good infra structure...old but well maintained...rooms are big, neat and comfortable. A/c operation is available only at the door of the room not on the bedside table...that is annoying as we have to get up from the bed and go to door to increase or decrease the a/c temperature. The breakfast they provide is very disgusting compared to other very ordinary hotels nearby...too poor a breakfast to proclaim the name of the hotel...no varieties...no good recipes...no good taste also...very disappointing. They give free WI-FI only in the hotel lobby...not even in your rooms. We pay 100 baht per day to avail WIFI in the rooms...another disappointment. The tariff in this hotel is more expensive than other hotels of same standard with better service. Advantages of this hotel...it is located in the middle of shopping malls and wholesale shopping market. Indra square..a big shopping mall is attached with this hotel where you find lot of Indians.

Me and my friend stayed in Indra Hotel for 10 Days and our experience was great. Friendly and accommodating staffs. Room was clean and easy access to hotel facilities. Free buffet breakfast every morning with wide array of dishes. This hotel is has the best location because it's located in the city center near train station to airport and shopping malls. Pratunam is shopping area of Bangkok so if your stay in Bangkok is all about shopping then best to stay in this hotel. Overall our stay was really good I have no complaints whatsoever. Looking forward to stay here again.

Hotel at reasonable price. Good location as it's accessible from airport by train. Train fare was only 45 Baht as compared to taxi fare of 5,000 Baht. Hotel is near bazaar, street food and restaurants.

Stayed here for many many years. The hotel has the best sized rooms you could ever ask for and although it has noted aged as well as some Bangkok hotels, the staff here are the best!!! Mr Johnnie at the bar is incredible, Mong, Winno and Kitty on breakfast are a lovely way to start the day and Mr. Nok and Prachoom are the best bell captains a hotel could ask for...I could name more and more staff who will guarantee to make your stay memorable, but I think you need to experience this hotel for yourself!!!

- Location: This hotel is situated in the shopping areas where you can spend all your penny with shopping and eating.
- Staff: They are friendly and helpful.
- Room: The was well clean, the AC worked really good, the water pressure was perfect.
HOWEVER
- Wifi: You have to pay THB 100 per day if you want to use Wifi in the room. Only at the lobby where you use free Wifi.
_ The breakfast: There were not much varieties of food. The coffee was served cold.

Hotel that is connected to a small mall. Good location, amenities, and service. Near the platinum mall which is great for shopping. Lots of massage and food places nearby. Good for the family and for taxi access.

This place is right smack bang in the centre of town I can't believe how helpful everyone is the bars are awesome and the rooms are wonderfull for an older hotel its got a very nostalgic feel I like that.

Good Hotel , Good Staff , Good Food and not the least it’s just above the Indra Shopping Mall, All shopping lovers should check in to this hotel as it will help them to spend lot of time in shopping, also The Platinum Mall is just 5mins walk from here. The hotel interiors are Good.The Hotel staff are always ready to help and have good knowledge of all the places and can help you book taxi from the hotel itself which is not that costly affair.

Ambience good, room quality good. Lobby is also superb. Cleanliness is there. Very much satisfying services. WiFi is also there.

Good only because of proximity to shopping. That's all. Rest is all an electronic place. Card to go to the room, card to use the life, everything in the room too is electronic.

In short, the hotel has no heart nor soul. You don't meet anyone except fellow residents.

They don't care if you like the service or not. People stay there only because of the proximity to the pratunam market. That's the only reason they are always full..

If you are in BKK for shopping you are okay here. But if you want a relaxed holiday, search else where. You don't want a 'cold' lifeless holiday.

It is located in a very convenient place for shopping. Most of the people who come for shopping stay here. Staff and the service is fantastic. But the breakfast is terrible. Quality of the food and the breakfast buffets has come down since last few years. Rooms are average. When checking in they ask for a usd 100 security guarantee which you will get when you checking out.

The hotel staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our visit comfortable. The hotel has a rooftop pool with views of the city. It was centrally located, and within walking distance to the malls. There is air conditioner in the rooms and there is a lovely restaurant at the hotel.

Rooms are good. Single beds are small. View not very good. Non smoking rooms. Surrounded with Indian restaurants and good shopping markets.

Service has gone down. Breakfast is not worth the money and not what it used to be. Have been using the hotel for 6 years but this was the last time. Good part is that the rooms were updated. Staff at front desk not very friendly. Only friendly people were the taxi drivers at the hotel.

Indra regent is probably one of the best situated hotels for wholesale shopping in Bangkok. It is on the northern end of Pratunam with the Airport Rail Link, Neon Night Market and Platinum Wholesale market all being walking distance. 
The rooms was clean and breakfast exceptionally good.

The staff were nice and the rooms were actually very nice. Clean. Pool was really nice and quiet. Would recommend for a few days. Easy walk from train stop..like less than five minutes so it makes it nice when coming in.

This is an old place where you would stay to just save some cash. It has a good view but it is not the best you can find. You also get a very Indian feel from this place, because of all the Indian restaurants near it.

It's good place if u r planning for shopping.. and one of the main center point in BKK. Had a good time staying there. Pool is not busy since all go out for shopping all day. Wi-Fi in good strength. Beds and Toilets are superb. Ground floor there's a Starbucks and McDonalds. Overall it's a best place for a family and even for singles.

The room is spacious... Altough. The bathroom is small just shower , 🚽 and wastafel. They have proper facilities Refeigerator, tv, room safe, hot and cold water, complimentary drink. Amenities such as shower cap, soap and shampoo, towels(small and big). The sorrounding is nice, near pratunam just 5 min walk. Indian food, and another traditional food just across the street...711 everywhere... Near paladium and platinum market just 10 min walk. Have to pay extra 100 baht for wifi..

A 5 star hotel with excellent service in all areas eg, baggage handlers, reception staff, cleaning service and exceptional friendly service of Ms. Kamolthip (436803) She enjoys her work and she does an excellent job. The staff are all to be proud of. Congratulations on a 5 star hotel. My wife and I will come back.

The photos displayed on the website is competely false. Maybe it used to be so, but now it's completely run down and not a suitable place to stay at.

its an average hotel situated in the city limits and there are lots of shops, bars around the hotel. staff is friendly but need to improve the reception. Meals are ordinary. Rooms condition is average and fit for the low budget tourists.

This is one hotel you should stay if shopping is on your list of things to do in Bangkok, however due to which the area surrounding the hotel is crowded and congested with traffic.

the location of the hotel is good considering the big markets around. it is a bit old building. u have to pay extra for room wifi. it is strange for a hotel. breakfast is pretty ordinary. swimming pool timing is 8am to 8pm. not suitable for a traveller!

Rooms were spacious but had cockroaches in my bedroom, there was no irons in the hotel to use nor was there a service to have my clothes ironed, this being a business trip this is rather important. The rooms also did not have WIFI which is also another let down on the service. Breakfast was below standard, nothing like they advertise.

Market is so closer on walking distance.. but breakfast is not nice... u can have breakfast to full stomach....another is good....

Lack of free WiFi for guests. I'd expect at least a free WiFi services for all the rooms as a 4-star ranking hotel. But overall, the service was quite average and rooms were somewhat clean and good.

Weird centrally located hotel seemingly occupied by little India. Perfect staging post for huge shopping trips.

Not a bad place to stay for a week or two. Close to all the markets, clean rooms etc. Can't ask for more than that. Plenty to eat for breakfast.

The bad thing is that, Gym not well equiped and only has 2 fans, its so hot in there, other than that, rest is good.

On a recent visit to Bangkok I stayed at the Indra Regent Hotel. I found the hotel to be very central and great value for money. The staff, led by manager Bob, and including Bell Boy Jun and Chonticha in reception were excellent. I cannot wait to return again.

Clean, spacious, but little to no amenities. For those english speaking customer, Use of translation apps recommended, hotel staff understand/speak little to no english at all.

Our room was nice and clean and had everything we required. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is fairly central in terms of shopping malls and markets and close to public transport. This makes it easy to get around, with walking being a viable option. While our package did not include any meals, we feel that including at least breakfast would have been worth our while; this is not the fault of the hotel though.
