We stayed one night. They upgraded our group to the two bedroom suite for free. Everyone was so polite. The free hot breakfast tired is over till dinner. We were so pleased with how clean and peaceful or stay was.

The other reviews are correct - thank you! Nice, recently-updated suite hotel with exceptional staff. We loved the front desk staff (ex: Colin and Shy). They could not have been more helpful, sociable and professional. The ladies who helped with breakfast and cleaning along with the men in maintenance also were polite, friendly and good at their jobs. A really well-managed hotel. The furnishings were in better condition and more elegant than most suite hotels. The room configurations were family friendly. Even the coffee, morning fruit and weekday evening snacks were way better than expected. Washington can be tough to navigate. This staybridge is in a convenient spot NE of the city. The close supermarket was useful. This spot allowed us to visit locations in DC and MD as easily as possible. Our favorite suite hotel in the area. No swimming pool but good in all the ways that matter. The people there make it special.

The good: nice staff. Decent breakfast. Nice looking facility.
The bad: first room had not been cleaned from the previous occupant. Second room was not very clean. Shower was dirty with soap stains on the glass, hair on the shower wall, bathroom door gross. Kitchen floor dirty. Fridge smells awful even with baking soda packs inside. Not sure if the vacuum was used recently.
Overall a 3 star at best, only the staff bumped it a notch.

I usually meet associates from out of town to work on projects. The location is easy to get to. The service appeared very satisfactory.

Nice location relative to where I'm working. Still not a bad drive into DC. Very clean rooms with full kitchens. The free dinner Monday through Wednesday is great. The breakfast is also very good.

Checked into a studio suite. Excellent space in room for one (or two). Even though guest have dogs, it doesn't smell nor sound like it. Nice breakfast. Mon-Wed social night is very cool too. My only issue was a plumbing noise heard through the bathroom wall. However, I don't hear my neighbors like you would at cheap hotels. I will certainly stay here again in the future.

Awesome staff! Clean rooms and they’re pet friendly

Nice hotel in its own area. Very excited to see the dinner being offered here. Was great each week. We stay all over the country and are in hotels more often than we are home. The pet fee was very high and that might sway us towards another hotel next time we’re in the area. Other than that things were good. I do have to mention one employee who stood out to me I believe his name was Josh. He helped us out whenever he could and always seemed to be working hard. Polite and very attentive to our needs. Employees like this should be held on tight by the company.

I'm surrounded by the wonderful staff here. They are really helpful to our needs. I just love the area. Surrounded by a lot of familiar stores and quick to get there.

Really nice hotel the room was great although they did charge extra even after we discussed we were staying under manager special, but in the end fees got sorted and all together it was a good vacation

The best rooms, the nicest staff. The evening social with free beer, wine and chicken gumbo out of this world. Complimentary laundry is clean and new. Definitely will stay again.

Nice hotel. Check in was slow because the receptionist was not as desk and phone was ringing off the hook. Another guest was in front of me and he stated the room that he'd been given a key to already had occupants. She went to verify, I guess. She came back to assign him another room and key. She told him she had to go check to make sure the room was really empty. She left the front again. She came back several minutes later and said the room was empty. It took her a while to find my room and process my deposit because she said reservations had been a problem all day. I'm not sure why or what this means but it finally went through. My family stayed on the 4th floor in a Queen Suite which was nice but smaller than I expected. The 4th floor was very smelly. We were hot by a strong fish scent as we exited the elevator. Entering our room did not alleviate this problem. We figured that someone was cooking fish in their suite. It was an overpowering scent!!!!! We left for dinner and to visit family and when we returned to the 4th floor the scent was still there bit it was accompanied by an even stronger rotten meat smell, onion smell, and my son said a lobster and crab smell. To me it was like rotten steak and some other meats. Whatever the case, it was unnerving to have to deal with these differing aromas. It took awhile but I was able to focus on it less even though I smelled them. The room was clean and somewhat cozy. The towels were rough and stiff. 5his was not so good. The mini kitchen was stocked and having a dishwasher was a nice touch. I would stay here again, possibly, but I would not want to be in the 4th floor. The 1st floor did not have those scents. I'm not sure about the 2nd or 3rd. The bed was comfortable which resulted in a good night's sleep. It was a quiet and stress free stay, it was just unbearably smelly!

Room is nice, the hotel is very nice but the surrounding area is a little rough. As long as you don't leave the hotel on foot, you will be fine.

My family of five loved this hotel! One of the best hotels we've stayed. We've stayed at Mandarin Oriental in DC, Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton and lovely places in Santorini, Greece. This place is actually world class. Leon was great and the gratis breakfast buffet was comparable to a Georgetown breakfast. The 2 bedroom suite was perfect with modern, well-appointed amenities. Kudos!

Can I just say LOVE this hotel. Fresh clean rooms, amazing breakfast, wonderful dinner socials. The staff was so friendly and kind! I will stay at again. We felt safe and secure here. We took a break from our vacation at this hotel with two night stay and just stayed around hotel for the day while there and it was a great day. Free laundry as well. You can not beet this hotel.

This hotel was great from the time I checked in. The front desk worker was well dressed and very nice. The scenery was very inviting, I would recommend it to Anyone. My suite was very nice clean and stocked with a lot, all u needed to bring in was the food. I will be back.
