Went to have an amazing buffet lunch for my early birthday celebration. The buffet was lack luster. It was a Sunday so it was a brunch buffet. The one good thing was free mimosas. The cranberry one was amazing. The waitress we had did a so so Job. I have had better buffets at other casinos.

Very good casino / resort to go to. Very spacious and plenty of games to play. I loved it. I had a blast. The odds are pretty good there. I would highly recommend at least going once if you get the chance

The casino it's pretty nice except for the fact that it is a smoking facility. It really is time to move forward. We spent sometime at the pool which is acceptable at best. Given the amount of customers at the pool it really is time for them to expand. And for the bar at the pool they really need to hire a competent bar manager to run it. I can only imagine how much money they waste by not paying attention to such an asset.

The variety of various types of gambling keeps the atmosphere electric and brilliant. The menu offered high class Cajun food . Elvis, Elvis shows are the most spectacular in the music scene. This is a magnificent established casino with all the bell and whistles. Run, run to Coushatta as fast as you can. Kinder is Kind on the purse and wallet.

Great Experience. Where do I begin... very impressed with the friendliness of employees all across the resort (casino, hotel, golf course). Seven Clans hotel is very nice and clean. Love the lazy river. The golf course is in immaculate condition. The fairways, greens and tee boxes are perfect. Great poker room, always busy, and awesome daily tournaments.

The best gaming option in west Louisiana by far. Recently updated with many newer machines. A very large completely non-smoking room as well. Clean, spacious, well-organized gaming floor with polite, attentive staff. Good variety (and tasty) dining options, even in the sports bar. Dedicated, supervised child care area as well. Nice waterpark facility. Rooms in the main hotel buildings tend to be a bit pricey though. Ample, convenient self-parking is also available.

Simply beautiful! So peaceful and quite! Food is delicious. Ordered a pizza at the little place inside The Seven Clans Hotel.
Fully loaded for $10 & tasted so good. Air conditioner in our room was so cold. Love it!

The slots were fun to play, and you could play on them for a long time without spending a whole lot of money if you watched what you were doing. The minimum on the table games were at a great price, way better than Lake Charles. The different hotels around the area were at great prices and most ran specials on and off. It's always a great experience when I get to go there.

Breakfast buffet at midnight is a hit! Great atmosphere. Love that the casino is non-smoking but has a smoking section. Had a great time at the pool with the love DJ on Friday nights.

This is my absolute favorite casino anywhere. The hotels are nice , clean and comfy. The staff is pleasant. The casino has more than enough to keep you entertained. We rarely leave down on our winnings. The Big Sky steak house is top notch and delicious. We make the drive from Texas every couple of months. Keep it up Coushatta!!!

There are many reasons why I can only give this an 8. It's a very nice atmosphere, but, the slots and tables are too close to each other. I love the choices of slots and table games. It's crazy how all the paying machines Paragon nearby (to me) Marksville had, you guys still have. The Grand Hotel beds are more comfortable than the 7 clans. Most employees seem to be happy. The food is much better than Paragon. What y'all lack is an air filtration throughout the entire casino. 🤒😷😷🤧 My non-smoking room smelled like Marlboro Reds..#gross

Coushatta casino is a great place to get away and have some . Even with three girls .Me and family come here all the time the kids can enjoy the pool and lazy river. Or kids quest. While we have some fun playing slots at the casino. This is a place to bring your whole family and have some fun. We been coming here for years haven won anything but it's a great place . The staff is always with a smile and looking out for you everyone is so nice .

Love this casino. Stay at the chalets and the staff is great and courteous. Need more staff for drinks or they should cover more areas of the casino. Played almost 2hrs before getting up and going get my own drink from the drink serving area. Overall great place to vacation.

I so loved everything abt this place. I will come back and bring my family. It's family friendly also have houses to rent and a bar pool. SO MUCH FUN DON'T MISS OUT

Played on slots over Father's day weekend and had a good time. Drinks were fairly quick in the back circus area and I like the self serve machines. Didn't get to try the new stadium blackjack since I was doing well enough on slots. Big Sky steakhouse is outstanding. Always a good steak there.

Coushatta is our spot to gamble in Louisiana. It's about three hours from us. The casino is clean. It's very smoky but what casino isn't? The casino gives good comps and drinks are plentiful. The buffet is just ok. We always have a great time. The dealers are all nice but we give a special shout out to Mark at the craps tables (sometimes roulette or Blackjack). He helped me learn a few years ago and was always patient with me. It can get intense but he keeps it fun. We always like going to the table he's working.

Food at the buffet was fresh (at noon) and our server was very attentive. Self service drink area was clean and all options were available. Restroom and casino area are clean. Since one of the the craps table was empty, we were able to speak with the attendants about the game. They were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent atmosphere. Always clean. Employees are very friendly. Great variety of slots and table games. Has an excellent loyalty/comp program. We win more here than any other casino in the area!!

This Casino is very large. The majority of the gaming floor is slot machines and electronic games. They have probably the largest selection of slot machines that I've seen in Lake Charles, so if slot machines are your thing, this place is for you. If you're here for table games, I suggest going elsewhere. Some rules are slightly different, and I felt that I lost a lot faster playing the same games here than at the other casino in the state. They have slushies, coffee, hot chocolate, lattes, and soda at the self service room! Not a bad casino but you can definitely see that it's aging.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The people that check on you and your room are very nice and friendly. We ate at several of the restaurants inside the casino and didn't care for them because it seems like they make the food in bulk and it just wasn't very tasty but they have a steakhouse that is pretty good but very pricey.

Nice escape from the overcrowded LC casinos. Hotel and lobby have cleaned up nicely. Wish pool was open but we were one week too early. Plenty of tables with reasonable limits which suits us better. Overall good experience

Stayed at The Grand. I was not impressed with the room at all. I expected something must nicer. The TV in the room had smudges all over the screen and the lighting right above the TV cast a terrible glare on the screen. Also there was only one mirror in the room and it was by the bathroom - that made getting ready very cramped and inconvenient. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. So comfortable that even though I went to play the slots, I really wanted to stay in bed. But, I went downstairs and played the slots... I should have stayed in bed, though. The slots seemed much tighter this visit than they usually are. Overall a good visit, but next time we will stay at the Seven Clans hotel in the casino instead. I've stayed at both and I think Seven Clans is nicer.

A great place for friends to try their luck. Payouts we're enjoying and good. The Inn of Coushatta was very comfortable and clean. All staff were helpful and kind. Thanks for the good time.

I love to come here and blow a bunch of money that I shouldn't and go home drenched in my sadness. I make sure to always drink more than my fair share of alcohol while here to make up for the major losses.

Our favorite game is video blackjack, really neat concept. First time we played we did well. Last time, well we really should learn to get up faster.

I have previously stated at the Coushatta Casino Resort Hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the endless river pool is just amazing. My wife and enjoy going the casino occasionally as a weekend getaway. We have a little fun in the casino and enjoy a good meal in one of the many restaurants, including a sandwich shop, buffet, mid proceed restaurant, and a steak House.

We stayed in the RV park for a last-minute, one-night stay. I can't praise it enough. The sites are well-kept, you can fish in the large pond, there are two swimming pools, and our dog loved the spacious dog park. We hopped a ride to the casino on the shuttle that runs 24/7 through the RV park. After a casual dinner in one of the the casino's many restaurants, we played Blackjack, and then enjoyed dancing in the club to the live music. We can't wait to go back for a long weekend.

Stayed two nights in the Grand. Room was well maintained, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and efficient.Ate breakfast two mornings at the Terrace Cafe , the food was great and staff friendly.Would like to point out our server for both mornings:Stephen #173 was friendly,professional and efficient. He made us feel very welcomed.Employees like Stephen make the customer feel comfortable and appreciated.

Absolutely had a great time there! Easy going and a huge selection of slots!

Free strong drink, amazing points, great giveaways. This casino is better than anything in Las Vegas. The staff is friendly and helpful. The casino is well maintained, any issues are immediately fixed. The hotel is good, a little expensive but worth it.

What can I say, best casino in Louisiana. It's a paradise in the middle of nowhere Louisiana. Huge slot selection, poker room was fun, off track betting, bingo 5 nights a week, live entertainment like comedian Gabriel Iglesias, a kids quest with arcade for children, the motel is very luxurious, the restaurants serve the best steak ever, and the workers were helpful and looked like they enjoyed their jobs which made me enjoy my time there.

Me and Thomas' favorite spot so far .. we stay together and we have an awesome time. Just got to be careful considering there is aways gambling involved. The place is amazing!

Maybe 3 and half stars...we like this place... The food need a lot of work! The food in the steak house is pretty good for the most part. Definitely the preferred place to eat while there. We won some money there on our visits. Middle to middle upper class crowd. Always clean. even in the lessor property accommadations. We at least 10 to 15 times a year.

We stayed at the Seven Clans Hotel; clean room, but dusty, sticky bathroom floor, black mold in and outside shower stall, bring your Lysol. The food in the Casino is fair at best, not very tasty but keeps you from starving. The folks are all very nice and courteous but the real winner is always the "House." I left with a $500.00, Cast Iron Frying Pan, so my wife was happy. Next time I get the gambling fever I'll just put my money in the pan and fry it. Oh well, good luck.

Overall a great place. I have fun everytime i come here, even when i lose. Just about every employee i came in contact with was great with the exception of one dealer who made it clear that she was a Trump supporter and felt a certain way about particular groups of people.

I was just there in January, heading out there again February 17th. I always have a great time there. The Seven Clans Hotel is excellent, staff is always very nice. I try to make it out there at least 8 times a year. Lots of fun and enjoy meeting new people every time I'm there.

Need to loosen the slots some. Went to a few bonuses but got zero in them. Out of $250 dollars went to 2 bonuses and earned only 485 points. You use to get lots of points but not anymore. Still better than Paragon. Now that casino should just go ahead and close their doors.

Nice casino. However I don't like the new table play arrangement for cash back. The old arrangement where you get it from the Advantage club and take it to the cashier was much better.

We love going to Coushatta! It has the best comps than any other one in Louisiana. We were there on Dec.26 and came home winners! We enjoy staying at Seven Clans and will be going back soon!

We always have an exceptional time when visiting here. We definitely like the seven clans hotel the best. My favorite slots are goldfish 3 and Elvira! Were here in Christmas day and the promotional gift is a Christmas platter, very cute!

Not huge but big enough. Smokiness was a 5/10 which I believe to be better than the boats at Shreveport but I haven't been to them in a while. We stayed at the coushatta inn which had friendly staff and nice rooms. It's just a short walk away. Table games and video games and slots. They also have a smoke free slots room next to bingo.

Fun place to be for a getaway. Really busy on weekends. More seniors during the week. Young crowd on weekends. Pricey if you lose like we do. Restaurants food is average except the Steak house. Very pricey there but food is excellant.

Went with Cruisin' Crew on the bus from San Antonio, TX to Coushatta... Had a blast... The cafe had great food... Several of us won $$$$, and the free drinks were flowing the whole time we were there! Shittles to and from the casino to our hotel 24 hours. Friendly, helpful staff and an overall fun environment...

I'm not much of a gambler, so take this with a grain of salt. Nice enough casino, but thought the service at the tables was a bit slow. My friend says the comps are good, and I made $60 at the blackjack table.

It had so many slots and tables to play at! good variety. 2 reasons why I didn't give it 5 stars: 1) almost ALL the casino tables were dirty or super worn from years of use. you'd think they make enough money to update the tables. blugh! 2) we had super terrible waitress once (but so far just once) she yelled at my cousin to step back but she came up to him! (yes you read that right, SHE WALKED UP TO HIM AND YELLED AT HIM TO STEP BACK). she was so horrible that management had to come over and try to make it up to the table for her bad attitude and super lack of service. but we've always had fun there other than that. we lost some and won some. that's gambling.

When you finally get there-the winning is great. Drink service is fast and free. The food is delicious in all the restaurants,even the fast food selections. The hotel is upscale but affordable.

Nice place but not enough waitresses. Was there for 3 hours and not 1 time did someone ask us if we wanted a drink. But other than that they have a great safe place to drop the kidos off and go have a good time.

Lots of Keno machines. Our Host (Debbie Perkins) is great and very accommodating. We've won some big jackpots and lots of small to moderate ones. Points for dollars played are excellent compared to the other casinos we frequent.

This place is awesome... Go there on the same month as your birthday and get free money to play with. I spent zero dollars played for 5 hours and left with $220 dollars. Totally worth it. I will definitely be a return customer.

Slots have become tighter over the years here. I used to win nicely regardless is when I came. My hotel room wasn't cleaned to expectations of what folks pay to stay here (slimy floors, hairs on the ground and towels, etc). The Bar 7 eating area forgot to put in my food orderand informed me after 45 mins of sitting there, and my order was only partially comped. With the amount of money that people spend here and the run around we got from staff, I feel that things like this should be fully comped. My order was messed up at the coffee shop as well. Little petty things just started to add up. Gong to another casino to waste my money at next time.

Now the positives, the buffet and their staff were fabulous. Kids quest was amazing. Parking was plentiful. Casino staff were also friendly. The new pool was also amazing.

The Gumbeaux Restaurant was actually good! Slots were winning. A bit smokey, but have a non-smoking if too much!!

It's a casino. With lots of people. They take care of their customers. Only negative thing I have is the fact that you have to be a vip member to get good seats to the concerts. The 7 clans buffet is awesome.

The cashiers where I got my card are super-duper nice. They went the extra mile to help me. I just love Coushatta 💖. Left at -$40. But lost all my winnings.

First off it was clean. The staff is extremely nice. The rooms are comfortable. It's attached to the casino and the pool has a lazy river.

Fun and safe casino. Buffet has dropped off and not as good, food options limited also. Self serve drinks options are great and a smoke free option also.

What a beautiful and well designed rv resort. Long level pull through spots, convenient shuttle to casino. Friendly staff. Will visit again soon. Enjoyed the casino but I do not recommend the buffet.

Always a fun place to go. The hotel rooms are nice, plenty of dining options from the sandwich shop to the steak house. The casino has everything video poker, slot machines and table games.

My husband and I took my mom to coushatta as a early birthday present and we love it . It gets better every time ♡♡♡♡ plus we have kids and they have a place called kids Quest with video games and a play ground.. My two kids love it... I recommend it 100%

The slots payed off loosely. The waiters were very nice and asked often if drinks were needed. The atmosphere is not bad but not quite what I expected. I had fun but probably won't return.

Great place with good, clean rooms. Also dog friendly, loved the pool with the slides. Even has a kid section which can really help. Friendly staff, great drink service, plenty of slots. Small area of table games but the environment is great. Good source of food and somebody is always ready to assist you.

Such a fun place! My family has been going since I was small and now I'm old enough gamble with them! The blackjack dealers are really nice and the drink staff is amazing. Sometimes drinks take a little too long to get back to you.

Great getaway place for gaming and hotel provisions. It is the only hotel/casino that provides childcare services for children while parents are enjoying their amenities. Several places to eat and pool is designed fir adults and children. Shuttle services between hotels and casino very accommodating and timely

I've been going for the past three years now. Coming from Texas it's a close drive when you just want to get away. The food options could be better. The 7 Clans Hotel is great, The Grand also; seems like the same hotel but different color scheme.

I enjoy going to the grand Casino Coushatta because it's a really fun place to go they have really good food the workers are really nice all over in the casino even in the restaurant the employees are really nice the casino is well kept up inside,and out the building of the casino,and it's really clean inside, and out ,and they have really fast service☺

Nice hotel (Seven Clans) with extremely friendly staff. Excellent food, but the service at the Terrace restaurant let us down repeatedly. Lots of slots, but I didn't win.
