Decent place for the price but a faulty privacy lock on the door was made hard to open.

Had lots of bugs in our room & the room smelled of wet dog. Employees were friendly & helpful though & is very convient having the Cumbies right next door.

The staff is very nice I love it there never had a problem it's one very good hotel very family-orientated I would advise anyone to stay there thumbs up to the Red Roof Inn Southborough

No reason to rate lower than 5. It suited my needs and had a pretty view. The traffic was a bit loud but I didn't pay for extreme comfort I paid for cheap.

Nothing fancy, but clean and pet friendly. Easy to get too.. reasonable price. I would like to see a little friendlier check in staff though

Nice, clean room and air conditioned. Excellent Wi-Fi. The manager made arrangements for our whole family and booked ahead of time for us even though our coupon is supposed to be for walk-ins only. Also, excellent customer service. The lady behind the counter let me use their microwave so I could heat up the breakfast we brought in our cooler (we got the cheapest room with no microwave or fridge). Also, there is a small coffee bar, but be sure to bring your own creamer if you can, because they only provide powdered coffee whiteners.

My main complaint is not about the motel itself, but about the crazy taxes that Worcester area has. Just be forewarned, that you will be paying an additional 10.7% tax on top of your room rate. And Red Roof Inn automatically charges you a "Safe with limited warranty fee" of $1.50 per night which you can get back when you checkout in the morning... if you remember to ask. The state tax is 5.7%, and the city tax is 6%. Plus, there is a random 9 cent "miscellaneous tax" which doesn't even amount to 1% of the total bill. So just make sure that when you're calculating a cheap place to stay for your family, that you take into account the high tax. It ended up being a fair amount for us because we are Canadian (so add on the 35% exchange rate on top of it all). Mind you, 10.7% is better than the 15% sales tax we pay here in Canada. It was just still surprising because usually taxes have been significantly lower everywhere we go in the United States.

Clean as a whistle, well run, convenient, reasonably priced and they have a truly caring and kind staff!

It's a cheap hotel. Bugs and filth inside the rooms but comfortable beds. I'd say just do better maintenance and cleaning. The front desk employee was very nice to us, we did not tell her the room was dirty.

Was very accommodating. Was able to get a room last minute in the middle of the night. Was a great experience. Even had a microwave in the room.

Rooms were nice, but very basic. No mini fridge or microwave, no hair dryer, and only 2 pillows per bed. Perfect if you don't need much. WiFi was included.

Beds were really comfortable lots of updated outlets for cell phones and anything else you need to plug in the TV channels came in good

Last minute search for a place to stay the night to play a tournament final the next day. Dated but clean and excellent location. Don’t expect much here as far amenities are concerned.

Everyone here was incredibly polite and personable. The room was very clean and tidy and we felt comfortable with our stay. The accommodations were nice and the price was great! Truly an awesome place to stay.

The inn was actually pretty nice. The outside looked a little old, but the rooms seem to have been renovated. It was clean and no frills. No breakfast though.

Pluses: Clean room, nice bed and good linens. Staff is very good. Knock: More road noise than one would want. The room isn't all that different from the Courtyard, but you hear more of Route 9.

Nice place, typical red roof inn type room. Good amenities and place was clean and well maintained. Great for the price. Wifi worked fine. Staff was courteous. Parking is free. There is a gas station nearby and some restaurants nearby as well. Stayed for one night on our way to Acadia.

It's a budget motel. If that's what you're expecting it's good. It's clean. The people are very friendly. The grounds are nice. It's the best pet friendly place to stay in the area. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has a dog with them.

Room was amicable considering the cost to stay here. Location is Central to Worcester, Boston, Gillette Stadium, etc. Service was friendly and helpful.

The room was clean, small but clean. Motel style with no exercise facility or breakfast. If you need a safe affordable room, go for it.

Rooms were nice but I came in from Chicago and reserved a room here on the way. After I arrive my card was declined. I offered to pay the stay in cash but she refused and said that you have to pay with the card you reserved with. After that I was forced to drive all the way downtown to one of the two chase banks in the whole Boston area. It was a busy Saturday night full of traffic and the roads are completely different than any roads I have ever seen. The chase bank was past a tunnel and every time I went under the tunnel my gps lost signal and I kept going the wrong way. I had to rely on people on the road and I finally got there after one hour. I didn't get to the hotel until around 2:30 AM. My first night in Boston was very tiring to say the least.

Good place for short stay to me the beds were uncomfortable and needed to bring extra pillows. The ones provided fall flat. Guess services were awesome

Stayed in a king size suite with my husband for our honeymoon. Affordable and really nice. Staff was wonderful. Will visit again.

Overall decent hotel and was pretty cheap. However, when checked in the room wasn't completely made, and there was still towels and other things from the previous guest haning around. Gross. The WiFi is reliable, although Slow, so it's usable, which is better than other hotels I've stayed at.

Clean rooms; reasonable price; accepts dogs without an additional charge. It has an incredible large beautiful green lawn between the two buildings.

Our experience was so pleasant, being the grounds are so well kept, with beautiful flowers, everywhere, the grass was thick, cut & green, surrounded with beautifully, thick, New England trees of all color's..from dark greens, to deep reds, & light greens...also a wide gazebo used for convention gathering's or for just sitting to cool down from the warm sun.The sprinkler's begin their routine @ dawn, refreshing the freshly cut grass...coffee is served 24 hours as well as tea, also available is the ice machine for hot summer night's... All staff is friendly & courteous, & willing to serve for every need,laundry is served with a smile & beds are changed on a regular...The front desk is served with politeness, & every action has a style of such etiquette... Team work & hard effort from every worker, is a great asset to this corporation, in making the red roof inn successful!! Really good for the price, especially for big groups. Beds are small and a fridge in the room would have been nice, but at least the air conditioner works well.

Definitely better of the highway motels. Didn't expect a lot, took an upgraded room with the right amenities to make an overnight stay comfortable. Maintenance is the key for such hotels and red roof didn't disappoint!

The room was ok. I don't care for the bathroom being split between the rooms. The bed was a little worn down and wasn't very soft. However, the room was clean and the pillows were very soft.

Rooms have clearly been renovated in the last 3-6 months. Beautiful hard wood in the rooms and everything is very clean and welcoming.

The rooms have been redone and are much improved. I am here with a cat so I appreciate their pet friendliness. The rate is reasonable too. And each room has a microwave and mini fridge. I am staying here for a week so that is nice. When I checked into the room the fridge still had someone else's food in it. The coffee maker has no pot or anything else.Since I didn't have coffee I went to get a cold drinks and the vending machine was completely empty. I think this is a place that is okay when you need some place on a budget and in a location close to a highway

Deluxe room is really nice. Clean room, big bed, Big TV, nice work station, outlets everywhere and staff seems friendly. For the price can't ask for much else.

This hotel is great and the price you just can't beat. The rooms are clean, some rooms with microwaves, bathrooms are spacious as are the showers. Being right off route 9 it is literally right near all the highways including 290 and 495. I was expecting a dump for the price I paid and was VERY pleasantly surprised at how nice it was.

Everything was fine, but I got woken up at 8am by staffs (not room service) for nothing. They knocked on the door and tried to enter the room until I opened the door then they walked away without explaining anything. I have no idea what was that for, it was so rude

Less than average. Chases travelers out, rude staff, semi clean room...If you plan to sleep, dont stay here! Housekeeping will barge in at 6:30AM! Old smoking room is now non smoking but you can definatly tell! Pay the extra and stay somewhere else!

I stayed here the other morning. The room was clean and surprisingly modernized. The heat worked great and there was plenty of hot water. Cheap rates within striking distance of Boston and Metro West.

They sure don't drop the quality when the dropped the price! The rooms are extremely clean! It is not wall to wall carpeting which I think adds to the cleanliness. The property itself is very clean as well. The maintenance men and housekeeping both do an amazing job keeping up. The entire staff is very friendly, professional and seem to go out of thier way to help in any way they can. Oh, and the beds are comphy, the sheets are very soft & pillows are plush. The TV is a good quality HD TV with decent channels to choose from. My ONLY complaint....the towels are rough on your skin. Nothing a little fabric softener wouldn't fix however.

The motel was clean, if quite old. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location is very quiet. A good choice if you need somewhere clean, safe, and cheap to stay

The rooms were clean and employees were nice. The other occupants were a bit noisy in the morning but nothing to get too worked up about. All in all it was a clean bed to sleep on with a tv to watch that had decent cable.

Had a nice stay, we got extra pillows when asked, but there weren't much in the room. Couldn't control the heat overnight. The shower was rough and bathroom was too small. No elevator to the second floor. The iron worked well. Also, there needs to be enforcement of dog waste. There should be pick up bags and garbage cans around the hotel if dogs are allowed. I stepped in poo on our way to leave for my girlfriends father's funeral today.

We left stinky Extended Stay Hotel and moved here instead. It's the best deal around. The rooms are SUPER clean! The staff is personable and actually seem like they care. Michelle--I think that was her name--is the best cleaning woman anywhere! She gets on her hands and knees and cleans every little corner in the rooms, and she does it with a smile. She should be commended and appreciated.

Every time I'm in the area for work I stay here, the rooms have always been extremely clean and the no smoking policy is a plus.

Finally a place to sleep that doesn't stink of ashtrays, cigars and cleaning fluid!!! As someone with MCS this hotel is a gem! Pseudo hardwood floors are so much better than carpet too. A fridge in the room would be nice but it's hard to find perfection when on a long road trip. Immaculately clean rooms, beautiful grounds,great price, friendly staff and a great location, highly recommend!!!

For the price, it was a great place to stay overnight. We had problems getting the wifi to work when we arrived, but it was late and we didn't bother calling the number. However, I noticed that it was working fine in the morning. The room we stayed in was newly furnished, and overall it was a good experience. I did appreciate the fact that the property was 100% smoke free, but that in turn made a lot of guests smoke outside, meaning once you stepped outside of your room, you would get immersed in smoke.
