Upon arrival was greeted by Jennifer, I must say she is phenomenal. Jennifer has amazing customer service skills, especially under pressure. Rooms are clean, housekeeping staff are accommodating and very sweet and friendly. They offer a tasty breakfast, my kids and I enjoyed it.

Friendly, helpful staff. I MUST say Jennifer goes over and beyond for customers even after checking in, she even directed us to our room. Jennifer has great customer service skills. Honestly I loved my stay! It’s nice and affordable and the staff was excellent! Very impressed with toni and her friendliness. Very pretty too! Will come back again for sure if I’m in town again!

The room was clean, the staff kind and super helpful. Yes the building is dated but it's in a great location for what we wanted. Being off the main road was nice. I could let the kids walk without fear of busy roads. The only negative is the poor elevator kept breaking down. With 2 small kids to carry up and down stairs with our luggage it kind of sucked. Breakfast was good. The coffee was intense. If you want a killer strong cup this is the place. Overall worth it. We will be back.

I was very pleased with my recent experience at GuestHouse Tumwater WA. The staff went above and beyond anything I would have expected to make sure my stay was very enjoyable. The quiet location of the hotel, pool and hot tub, and a complimentary breakfast along with a business center will certainly accommodate either a business traveler or a family on vacation. I will definitely be back.

I give four stars only for Nichole and Jennifer and the male attendant at the front desk. They were WONDERFUL! ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! We had to stay awhile and they made it as easy as possible! But....steer clear and keep your credit card away from Rachelle. She is mean, condescending, and will stalk you. She ran our card and it put ahold on the money, but since it was pending she hounded is, threatened to kick us out of the pending didn’t post to their account. If you have to stay....do only through the above people I’ve mentioned!

I have been traveling for work for 3 weeks, and have previously been staying at a different hotel. It does not even compare to Guesthouse! The front desk attendant, Jennifer, was so personable and friendly and made me feel very at home. The room is simple, but clean, and has everything i need. I will definitely be staying here again!

Atmosphere was desired. A little off the beaten path. Hidden away with nice views of Washington forests.
However, very shady people hanging around parking lot. As well as room upgrades needed. Made for a undesirable stay. Specially for the price.

This place is in a strange location in the woods near the freeway and placed perpendicularly next to the Comfort Inn. It was pretty run down, but the beds were comfortable. My let wouldn't work once and The front desk gal had to come let me back into my room. The breakfast was good. The exercise room was terrible. They had 4 machines and only 1 worked and that took me a while to figure out that there was a power switch near the floor to turn it all the way on. Obviously it hadn't been used in a while. The gal at the front desk was very helpful. I went to use the business center to print something and figured out the password on my own then realized the printer wasn't even hooked up. I plugged it all in and printed my document and the young man at the front faxed it for me.

Nice hotel. Small pool room but it worked. Older style hotel but super friendly staff. It was a little hard to get to but one you know where it is you will be fine. It's close to Costco (10min drive) and it's a cute little town.

Stayed in a queen spa suite - queen bed, sofa sleeper, jetted spa tub, fireplace. Location is a little tricky to find, but check in was pleasant. Our non-smoking room smelled like stale cigarettes and the smell lingered. A/C wouldn't work at all until we unplugged it and plugged it back in again. Gas fireplace was nice, tub and bathroom were clean. Bed was some kind of squishy memory foam that left our backs in knots by early morning.

Booking confirmation, reservation email, website, check in and literature in room all said noon check out, but at 11:10 the phone rang and we were told we were late to check out. After debating this we we were told we could have until noon after all. When we did check out at 11:45, and complained about the inconsistency, the new girl at the desk was apologetic, but the manager/shift lead on duty butted in to demand what the problem was. When we explained, she said "that's what I was told." and just shrugged with a slight sneer on her face. When we pointed out that everything the guest could see or read said noon check out, but they called and interrupted a romantic morning because of what they "had heard" again we received nothing but a shrug and a bored stare. Did nothing to try to make it right or even pretend to care.

Summary: Decent room, too soft bed, pool looked nice, but room needed airing out and maintenance check, and Sunday morning staff desperately needs re-training on customer service. Would like to recommend, but currently can't.

Although it was clean, and not gross, it was a very upleasant stay.

At first I was happy to be away from home, but we got there at 6pm, not too late to check in, and we had to ring a bell for service, already. She came out and was charismatic and polite, but then the phone rang and she answered it, and then she Took The Call, not even a "please hold while I help the people in front of my face." The call was about the kinds of rooms they have, which was like 5 minutes of ignoring us. We were standing there, waiting to pay for the room I booked in advance, while she answered questions on the phone that could have been resolved by looking at their website. Half way through our check in the phone rang again, but this time she asked them to hold. The phone then rang once every 30 seconds or so to remind her of the message.

Since that didn't already put us off staying there, the first thing that actually went off as alam bells for us is that they called it a jacuzzie suite, but it is not what you define as one. It's a bed on one side with the jacuzzie, some wall, then a couch and small dining table. It was Not a normal suite with a bedroom and a living room.

Next, we collapsed on the bed after unpacking, and we were immediately uncomfortable. It's an old and incredibly used memory foam mattress that has obviously stored too many memories to be comfortable, no matter what angle you try. When my fiancé woke up in the morning his back was stiff and it was hard to get up.

After that dissapointment, I tried the jacuzzie tub. It's an old style tub with little knobs for changing the jets speed. It had three settings: off, weak, and slightly less weak. The tub is big for one person, but not ideal for two, unless you are both almost 0% fat and no muscle.

The final dissapointment came at 6am, the supposed time breakfast was available. Continental breakfast is my finance's favorite part of a hotel stay because he gets biscuits and gravey, which I just don't make at home. He went out to see what they had at 6am sharp (usually right when they are ready at any other hotel). They had barely started setting up. There weren't even plates, bowls or cups out yet. He tried again a half hour later, and nothing had visibly changed. At 7 he tried again and they finally had hot food out.

I had booked the room for two nights, but left only about 14 hours after we got there. Half of it was because it was a dissapointment, and the other half that pushed me to go was that our pup was so anxious to stay in a strange new place that she didn't sleep all night.

Tl;DR it wasn't what they advertised, or anywhere near what competetors offer.

Room was supposed to be non smoking but when we walked it the smell of smoke was strong. Toilet overflowed covering entire bathroom floor and front desk said it is common for the third floor. We were offered free breakfast for having to check out early. Breakfast is actually complimentary.

This hotel was very understaffed. The lady at the front desk was doing her best but she was just one person. Then our key cards couldn't open the door to our room. I noticed we didn't get cell phone service (AT&T) but no matter, they have wi-fi...except that it was down. The bathroom was clean but not well maintained, and the furniture in the room was very outdated. Breakfast in the morning was your standard cheap continental, with decent biscuits and gravy. However, the bed - in my opinion the most important part of a hotel room - was comfortable, hence the 3 stars.

Room was old but acceptable. Breakfast was a disaster. Warm milk broken toaster spoiled waffle mix stale cereal and a milk soaked carpet.

This hotel is awesome you get way more than you pay for! So awesome.

Friendly staff, nice pool and clean, functional room, but we arrived 3 hours after check in time and our room was not ready. Our pull-out was out of order, so out daughter slept on the couch and the TV remote was not set up with the TV. The breakfast was pretty good though!

Pretty neat hotel. We rented the family suite. So having the bunk beds in another room was nice. The kids used the pool every day we were here. The only thing I didn't like was we asked for a late check out due to food poisoning I had the night before and was still feeling pretty sick. They granted it but told me it was going to be an additional $20 fee.

Functional. Business class. Typical franchise guest services. Good pricing!

Nice quiet location surrounded by trees everywhere. Friendly staff at the counter. The decor is somewhat dated but not worn out or tacky. The rooms are comfortable and fairly large.

Kelly the front desk lady was our angel not only did she make us feel welcomed and comfortable but she also went way above and beyond her job duties to help us out. The whole time treating us with genuine kindness and compassion the kind you just don't see anymore in customer service. Thank you Kelly at guesthouse inn and suites you are amazing.

The wifi is super spotty and for some strange reason the shower has a cloth curtain but no liner, which seems like a fantastic way to get mold. Otherwise the hotel room is fairly nice

This Hotel is absolutely Outstanding. We broke down July 12 in Olympia Washington. While, my husband stayed with our Van and waited for the tow truck. Myself and our three children got a ride to the Hotel. What a Miracle!!!! KANDI, the beautiful and kind lady at the front desk was a BLESSING to our family. She has Absolutely AMAZING customer service and a heart of gold. Also, the house keeping at the Hotel was amazing as well. We stayed a week and they ALWAYS made sure we had everything we needed especially the gentleman with the longer hair ( I am sorry we never got your name). Our family couldn't Thank Your Hotel and the team of staff that you have Enough!!!! If we ever come back to Washington we will ONLY stay HERE!Thank you again.

Would not stay again unless there was no where else. The room was not handicapped friendly despite being advertised as so. There was no ice & the room had a musty smell. The pillows and sheets were as thin as tissue. Bith a lampshade & the fitted sheet had holes. However there were no bed bugs & the staff were pleasant and tried to make the best of it. Stayed at the Governor last time I was in Olympia and had a similarly worn down uncomfortable experience. What us it with Olympia hotels!

The rooms were clean and comfortably slept 4 adults and 3 kids. The continental breakfast had quite a few options which were good. The pool was clean and fun. Overall a good experience.

The quality Inn hotel in tumwater wa was easily located and accessible right off of i5 which was greatly appreciated.

However, the pool left a strange yellow substance on us after using it. And the hair dryer on our room sparked when I attempted to use it.

The beds and pillows were comfortable at first but the walls were thin and after an hour or so it was quite the unrest full sleep.

The breakfast was interesting my favourite part being you could make your own waffle using the spinning waffle iron. Unfortunately the space wad incredibly small and the food wasn't attended to very well so they ran out of things quickly and took a while to replace them.

The staff were kind and friendly. I give this place a 3 out of 5 because I'd stay there again as a quick over night thing but as for an extended stay I wouldn't recommend it.

Location is great to be close to Olympia without dealing with all of the traffic and noise of the area itself. Beds are firm, to say the least, but you can still get a good night's sleep on them. Depending on the room, you may even getting up to change the temperature in your room a LOT as not all the climate control units are the same so they don't turn on and off automatically. Breakfast is standard fare but still good. In all, nice place for the value

I would of rated this hotel a 3 star if it wasn't for the price being way higher than it should be. This hotel might have been nice when it was first built probably around 1985. It looks like they still have the same sheets, pillows, mattress, and carpet from the 80's. The interior design, wallpaper, paint is definitely from the 80's I felt I was staying at my Grandma's house when I was 4 years old. The hallways on each floor smell like a homeless man from downtown Seattle asking for money. The smell is just terrible in the hallway and elevator. It gave me a headache. The room was very clean however and the A/C did an okay job of keeping the room cool. Being from South TX I'm used to turning on the A/C and getting it like a chill box. Check in is at 3:00 p.m. I arrived at 2:15 p.m. and the girl at the counter wanted to charge me $40.00 for early check in. When I returned at 3:00 to check in, it took them almost 30 minutes to check me in. Can I now deduct $20 for late check in because of your lack of training? What a joke. Overall I would like to give this hotel 3 stars but I feel that they didn't make the cut. The staff was okay, room was okay, location was good. Very mediocre service.
