Easy to get to just off imterstate. Offered a hot breakfast buffet. Pool and hot tub were relaxing.

This is a good stay for families with small children. Fast food venues nearby & a fun slide in the pool area. Pool is very shallow throughout -not for adults & the hot tub is uncomfortable. The room keys work once or twice before needing to be re-keyed by the front desk. (Even when kept away from a cell phone.) There's a fridge & microwave in each room, but the fridge is NOISY. Be sure to hang your suits in front of the A/C before bed b/c there isn't enough air circulation to dry them in the bathroom & the hair dryer won't run long enough to be of any use. FREE breakfast is a plus!

The room was pretty small. Our shower was broken and our key cards didnt work. Great pool for kids!

Beds were a little too soft for me. Continental breakfast was average. Older motel. But, the staff was great and I had a blast on the waterside. So it goes from a 3 star to a 4 star!

I'll start by saying that if this hotel were in a major city, I'd give it 1 star. As is, though, I try to rate hotels relative to the city it's in - and on that scale, the Days Inn is still just "OK". The price is competitive and the staff friendly but that's pretty much where the highlights end. The complimentary breakfast is very lackluster (even relative to other chains); and the rooms dated. The rooms, in particular, are in dire need of both new carpet and new AC units. The AC in the room was not only too loud to facilitate any sleep - but had a mildew smell that was overpowering - which left us with the choice of roasting in our room - or dealing with both the noise and the smell. If nobody else has a vacancy, I suppose, it'll do - otherwise, I'd avoid this location.

Clean place. Locally owned it seems. Good place to stay the night. Has a really cool indoor water park that's open tell 10pm

Overall not a bad hotel. The downfall was a small parking lot and the beds were small. Think ing the beds were full instead of queen. Kids loved the waterslide.

Our stay was just fine. The only thing that could be improved is the wifi...multiple devices were tried and not a single one would connect.

Great hotel with very friendly staff. The pool is definitely the highlight with the water slide and the dump buckets. You have to appreciate that they have a lifeguard on duty as well. Rooms were clean and spacious. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is clean and the beds are soft. The hotel is older, and it shows its age. The pool was okay, but the water was really cold. The hot tub was nice. The lifeguard was very friendly.

Truly awesome staff. We got stranded in Mitchell due to a blizzard. The hotel treated us so nice it was unbelievable they let us check in early, and let us stay quite a bit after check out to see if the highway would open up again. Unfortunately, it didn't, so we extended to a second night. We enjoyed their pool with big curly slide and hot tub. I would highly recommend this motel for the staff alone. As far as the rooms, they were a little older, but very clean, and safe. If I ever get the pleasure of returning to Mitchell I would stay here again .

We we're stuck in Mitchell because of a blizzard and the interstate was closed. They were so understanding and kind! The rooms were clean and the pool was awesome

Basic amenities/breakfast. But clean rooms and courteous staff. A little more than your standard hotel pool too for the kids.

I had some special needs in transporting a elderly person with dementia. They were very accommodating for our needs to make the night run smoothly. Great service.

The rooms were clean and the bed so comfy! The staff was really nice. Breakfast was great. The pool was fun although the water was cold! And the water was dirty. I think that people bring in their dirt from the campground... But the kids had fun! The other thing is I wish they had more that 1 washer/drier or that the drier would have been more effective... The washer was 30 minutes any the drier was 1 hour and you had to run it 2ce to get everything dry!

Very welcoming when we arrived. Amazing indoor waterslide. The kids had an absolute blast. Not too busy and very reasonably priced hotel.

The hotel was very clean and had a modern appeal. I would have liked to try the indoor waterpark, but time did not allow. I would stay here again.

The room was clean, there's a super fun waterpark (water slides) that are small kid friendly. Location is right off of interstate and easy to locate and get to. Will stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Days Inn in Mitchell, SD. The pool had a nice waterslide, toddler water slide, and other water features as well as a nice hot tub. My daughter thought it was awesome and my husband and I enjoyed it too. Our room was very nice and modern, clean, spacious, and had a mini fridge and microwave. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast, but it was a bit crowded (keep in mind every room in the hotel was booked and it was the weekend of the 4th of July). We are planning in staying there again on our way back from vacation.

The hotel was clean and the room was quite large and well set up. Continental breakfast was okay. The pool and the staff were both excellent. The front desk was well beyond accommodating. The pool had an indoor slide that seemed extra long and my kids; 9, 11, & 13, loved the slide.

Nice hotel, reasonably priced, friendly staff and good Continental breakfast. Great pool with a large water slide that our grandchildren totally enjoyed.

Clean and quiet despite being full. Breakfast see was limited and had those frozen omlets that taste like rubber.

Room is clean and spacious.
However, strong odor from indoor pool permeates the room.
No elevator and no assistance with hauling luggage up to second floor.

The hotel was clean but don't ask 4 a wake up call u wont get one and the so called breakfast is toast and cereal asked 4 wake up call and was told to check ringer on phone really?! Im not stupid wont stay at another one! If company wasn't paying 4 it would not have stayed here

We rented their meeting room for my Grandma's 95th birthday party. The staff were all amazing! They were helpful, friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were clean, the pool was really fun! We loved it here!

Room was nice size. We had 2 beds and a couch with a bed. Nice pool with a slide!

Friendly staff. However they messed up our reservation by only giving us one room instead of two. Since it was a full weekend we got another room but it only had one bed instead of two. They were also very accomodating with our large group that we had.

Just visited a friend that was staying there. Rooms where fairly decent. At least the one i was in for a few minutes.

Room was very clean. Pool/hot tub were nice. Employees were friendly. Breakfast could be better. Omelets were in fridge to be microwaved.

Perfect place to stay with your family, the water slide is a blast. Close to restaurants and central to a variety of things to do. The rooms were very clean and they accept pets. Would and will be staying again.

Price was exactly what I needed, service was outstanding! Only problem was bed wasn't very comfortable.

Stay was pretty good. However the pool seemed unorganized when it came to staffing. We specifically stayed for the pool and the unorganized staff cut into swim time.

The only room they had left, and it was a pet friendly room. I don't know what their normal rooms are like, but the warning I was given about the pet friendly room was probably not necessary. It was clean and with no pet smell.
